Why I have no enemies

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
In my opinion, as long as you don't believe you're born with ego and short comings, I wouldn't put it pass you to reach your goal ;). If ego is a part you and it's something you feel you need to work on but won't reach the goal while alive, I'd say it will take awhile.

I just used sin for the concept of being born with something that keeps you from your spiritual goal or lifestyle. Are you born to live a spiritual life or where you born spiritual and something knocked you off the path?
I believe everyone are born spiritual, but society tries its best to rub it off all humans. Thats why taking as little part in society is so important to spirirual people.

First of all how can I have enemies when i love all humanity? I can say i do not love action that harm others, it is the human being i love.
An other thing is that i do not own the land i live in, i do not see it as a place only for Norwegian people, i honestly love the multi cultural enviroment it has become here.
Sitting on a bench somewhere and just listen to the multitude of languages spoken, and see people from all over the planet, in harmony and peace.

Critiques of what i write about and believe in, will say "Yes, but what about when someone attack you, or kill your family or friends? Can you still love them then?"

Answer: As i said earlier, i do not love action that harm others, but i can forgive, and move on. I can not bring back those who are gone. so i found that dwelling on the pain from the past does not heal anyone, it ony create hate and anger. and i do not want hate and anger in my life anymore.

Love and compassion that grow from within the heart of a person is what heal us.
I have no enemies either, but I do have people I disagree with, adamantly.

What does your religion (Islam) say about loving your enemies?
The Baha'i Faith teaches to love our enemies, but that is through Abdu'l-Baha. i could not find any passages where Baha'u'llah said we should love our enemies, although that does not mean that such passages do not exist.

I can try not to hate anyone but I cannot force myself to love someone especially if I don't respect them.

Sufism teach love for all beings, a bit different than mainstream islam there they should not love those who oppose Allah

Love and compassion start from within and remove more and more hate when practicicing love toward everyone

Mainstream Islam believe they shouldn't love those opposed to Allah?

Is that their teaching or your observations from Muslims themselves?

I honestly never accounted that before (outside what I've read).

Not to take your manifesto out of context, but that is a rather broad and dishonest claim. I'm convinced you would never "love" me by merely professing it. Also because we are as different as day and night, which is ok for the cosmology here.

I want to challenge you a bit (I think?) ...

To me, love is reciprocal. For example, growing up, my mother loved me by deeds but never expressed it emotionally and have that spiritual connection as mother would ideally have with their child. So, in that respect when you love someone, you basically have to know them in order for that love (different types-parental, stranger, relationship, etc) to be, how to say, genuine. Some say actions speak louder than words, but in my experience words and things like that can supersede actions...

... with that in mind, maybe the love you're talking about with others makes you feel better spiritually. However, if that love isn't reciprocated (say Allah to person/person to Allah), it's in a sense one sided. It makes you feel better spiritually but it could be seen like a spiritual ego.

A quote I thought of awhile back that kind a helped: experience joy in other people's joy

I think a parent, teacher, religious elder or authority, et cetera would kinda understand that. The rest of us (at least those who want to) have one-sided love but to many I notice if the other doesn't reciprocate, or does the opposite, its time for revenge... so, reciprocation has its place. I do think it should have something to do with the love you say you experience.

Not in a "they have to react" for me to show genuine love but genuine love is in the relationship you have with others and vis versa. Something I remembered from the bible: when you do for others you have also done for me. (If you do just for God without God relating to you in that deed, what does that love actually mean?)

Only one out of thousands of perspectives. No devils here

Love toward all humanity means love every human beings as human beings. :) I might not agree with actions people do, but that does not mean i can not love the person.
love in this speech is compassion for all humanity

To me the love that i speak about is to any human being, no matter if they like me as a person or not, this is actually not about me as a person at all, it comes from within, without me doing anything or trying to be good to everybody, nor does it stop if someone is crule to me as a being. As i said a bit earlier, it started a few weeks ago where i notices nothing feels as a threat, or discomfort, it just happen to be that feelings of anger frustration and irritation about what others say or do, disapeard, it does not matter if a person is american, indian, Iraqi or from any other place, i see now everyone as one people and thereby no enemies of something that is within me too.

I think i can not explain that feeling at the moment because it become stronger and stronger each day. I just have to see where it leads

That is my understanding what the teaching says

I'm confused. If islam is a religion of peace and not all muslims are as they seen in their stereotypes, I would assume muslims would draw peace just as you do?

Does the Quran teach them something different than it teaches you?

Is it the quran that drew you to that conclusion?

That sounds like the start of division unless I'm reading it wrong?

What is the punishment for insulting Islam or Muhammad?

Under Sharia, those who insult Muhammad or Allah are to be executed. So are those who desecrate the Quran or commit other acts of blasphemy. This tradition began with Muhammad, as recorded in the Hadith and by his biographers. There is also a Quranic basis for it.

Quran
Quran (6:93) - "Who can be more wicked than one who invent a lie against Allah?" If the death penalty is prescribed for lesser crime, then it stands to reason that it should be imposed for the most "wicked".
Quran (33:57) - "Verily, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger () Allah has cursed them in this world, and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment"

Quran (33:61) - [continues from above] "Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter."

This part of the quran sounds to me that it accept if non muslims are executed, And honestly i can not see what killing someone has to do with religious practice, so here i have to disagree with the teaching.
And that will probably gain me some problems along the way. But i do not wish to judge other people like this. I have never believed in killing of people no matter what they have done.

If you believe I the quran, what does that teach you about allah?

I usually (rather) dont read bad stuff unless I'm making a point or support. I'm not challenging the validity of your post and not saying you're lying, just I'm confused because both muslims and yourself use the same source to learn about god but it seems god told you it's not alright to kill and judge but it tells muslims the opposite.

As a Sufi i take the inner path, meaning to purify every part of who i truly am.

Sufism is to be mindful of one’s inner-states and adhere to good manners.

Source: Risalat 2/443

Sufism, as a technical Islamic science, is spiritual self-development through the knowledge of stations (maqamat) and states (ahwal). A station is a form of righteous behavior that a Muslim actualizes by striving in worship, such as repentance (tawbah), consciousness of Allah (taqwa), trust in Allah (tawakkul), gratitude to Allah (shukr), and mindfulness of Allah (muraqabah). A state is how a Muslim temporarily feels in the present moment, such as hope, fear, joy, and sorrow. It is said that the states are like flashes (lawa’ih) and surprises (bawadih).

The original Sufis, through this knowledge, documented the methods by which a Muslim could purify his or her heart from spiritual diseases like envy, malice, and arrogance. As such, Sufism is the collective synthesis of theology, psychology, and ethics. It has also been called the science of purifying the soul (tazkiyyat al-nafs), noble morals (makarim al-akhlaq), and spiritual wayfaring (‘ilm al-suluk). This knowledge is at the heart of the entire religion.

I'm not saying you're lying. I'm heading out, but I'm genuinely confused.

A lot of what you said in the past and your study of the quran etc doesn't line up with what your post said about mainstream muslim teachings.

As a non muslim, should I read the quran as that of peace or hate?

The reason why some of my posting before say different than i do today, has to do with new understanding of the teaching within Sufism. I do not say mainstream Islam is an evil path, far from it.
You asked what is in the quran, and instead of trying to "hide" the verses that say what those qoutes i gave you, i found that being honest and say what it actually say is more righteous toward anyone.

All i looking for in my life is peace and compassion, and i found it in sufism, it does teach me how to become a person without hate or anger.
A lot of what i said in the past was said in delution and with unpure heart. and i do not wish to go there again. I will always be a newbee in Sufism, but i realize something new every day.

The verses i gave you speak about how a muslim should do it in wartime, not in peace time. But as a sufi i do not have enemies so i do not take part in war.
