It seems most religious have special hats, Turbans, Yarmulke , Keffiyah Hijab, Taqiyah, Kippah, Pope hat, Nun hat and bishop hat.

They are also forced to wear hats, Muslim women have to wear hats that cover there entire body, Jews wear a hat to cover up the bald spot and Sikhs have to wear turbans.

Does covering the head cause something to happen? Like a superstition or cause & effect?

They are not forced to wear hats. There is clothing of all sorts that is designed to identify the wearer as a member of a religion or holding an office. In some cases wearing specific clothing is a feature of orthodox adherents to a religion. This goes beyond hats and to clothing in general. For example, in Islam women sometimes wear a head scarf or more concealing clothing but in many cases they don't.

AFAIK, Sikhs don't have a requirement to wear turbans. The requirement is for baptized Sikhs not to cut their hair, and the turban is a practical solution that keeps long hair neat and out of the way.

Head covering in the Bible had spiritual significance. It was related to authority and headship as prescribed by God in his word. The apostle Paul made this clear....

1 Corinthians 11:3-4:
"I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; in turn, the head of a woman is the man; in turn, the head of the Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with something on his head shames his head"

verses 7:
"For a man should not have his head covered, as he is God’s image and glory. . . ."

So, every person has a head above them except God himself. There is order in this arrangement. God > Christ > Man > woman > children. If everyone is mindful of their head in God's arrangement, then all will run smoothly without disorder. It requires humility, but as we can see with Jesus, he always humbly submitted to his head....who was also his God. He did not feel demeaned by having a head over him. It was a privilege to serve him. Its all in our attitude.

Some people believe that women are demeaned by being in subjection to their husbands, but this is not dictatorship (as some men interpret headship)....it is the head of the household taking the lead in caring for the spiritual, emotional and material needs of his cherished family.

“Husbands ought to be loving their wives as their own bodies. . . . For no man ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation . . . Let each one of you individually so love his wife as he does himself.” (Ephesians 5:28-29, 33)

Paul also said...."in connection with the Lord, neither is woman separate from man nor is man separate from woman. 12 For just as the woman is from the man, so also the man is through the woman; but all things are from God". (1 Corinthians 11:11-12)

So to God, all his worshippers are equal.

Men in funny hats who profess to be Christians....are not, according to scripture.

Wow...this takes me back.
This argument with friends (admittedly while quite drunk) led to us imagining what our cult might look like. Doctrine was pretty light, mostly focused around dealing with the riff-raff after we took over and ranking everyone based on hat-size.

I have 'Grand Hat' against my user account to this day as a nod to that enebriated discussion and the occasional revisits to it.

I think that hats started with people carrying stuff on their heads, to keep their hands free. As seen in some of the ancient egyptian pictures were they are wearing snakes inflated like balloons. Who knows what they were keeping inside of the snakes?

99.9% correct, sir. I know of one sect where the turban is mandatory, but generally its seen as part of the uniform for male Sikhs to manage their long hair, and also to make them stand out as Sikhs. Not sure it means today what it used to, though..
