The next morning, I am always excited to find tracks in last night's snow. To realize that so much was going on in the fields and woods while I slept, intrigues me.

When stealing cattle, it is best to put shoes on the beasts. It looks like the cows just disappeared and a large group of people walked out of field. Not that I condone cattle abduction.

My own. I envy people who know about tracks and trees. Oh! and computers too!

The first is a rabbit, I'm pretty sure.
The second is a six legged cat?

In Oz, I imagine the trees leave tracks. Even over the yellow brick snow.

    Or an 8-legged cat that's holding 2
legs up just to mess with our minds.
    Cats do things like that.

Indeed. Though, Kipling claims they walk by themselves. Maybe that is just the cat that they let him see.

And look what happened to him...he's dead.
Be careful what you claim about cats.

Point taken. I am on good terms with the cats that let me share their home. Or so they are letting me think.

Thinking on it, I have seen numerous tracks in the snow indicating a variety of different organisms.

The most common are people, dogs, housecats (not in a house) and rabbits. I have also seen deer, turkey, goose, chicken, cattle, horse and tire tracks in the snow.
