does anyone need to be responsible for one god, or many gods?

shouldn't a god, or gods, be able to take care of self vs it's believers having to fuss and fight over it?

Are we talking reality or mythology?

Only in mythology do gods need taken care of.

Ok. What's your point? People still "take care of the gods" even in modern times. Take a look at all the wonderful and colorful practices of India.

people who promote their god aggressively; whether the god(s) are real or mythology. we're not focused on the god(s). we're focused on the behavior of a person who is adamant that their belief in something is more important than another's belief in something

Arguably it's all mythology, including your version. Don't you find it odd that you Christians can't agree what your God is? Christians have their own ideas what God is, and you are each responsible for how you present it to others. We never see a God come forth and speak for itself.

Are you not responsible for fostering the belief in a God of love?
Where would any of the various religions be without their various messengers to tell people about God? How to properly think/worship/understand God?

i don't believe in something apart from self, or others. I believe in a collective consciousness that is loving and manifests through many forms.

God is One infinite being manifested in many subordinate deities or Sons of God.

Believers are growing in spirit and understanding. No need to fight.

Believers are fighting for dear life, while Satanic forces oppressing them. If we fight, we do so to live.

It's the Pharaoh and Abu Lahab of our time and his forces that choose to oppress believers for sheerly the fact they believe in their Lord.

That only happened in the last 5 years or so. The idea of the monomyth, research on the need for love, and obviously most prominent religions promoting the idea of love.

True. What is unfortunate is they do because of differences in levels of understanding, culture, language, and maybe the need to feel superior

I think they feed gods out of love, not because he or she needs it.

True. I think it's honestly a matter of both. But yeah, love plays a lot into it. I wouldn't make a sacrifice without it being in love for the Deity(s).

I don't foresee anything being more powerful than self preservation at the absolute

Depends on the nature of God's, really.
The book 'Small Gods' (Terry Pratchett) paints a picture of God's being dependant on believers.

I don't believe in any God's, so it's kinda all hypothetical from my point of view, but it's possible.
