Ah Ha! Series five finished about a month ago, and we're waiting to see the Christmas edition to discover answers to various exciting situations.
My old man was heavily into the yachting and shooting social scene (yuk) and just touched the outskirts of the Downton Abbey World. His son was more into wildfowling and poaching........ I still feel like spitting when I see a sidelock game gun. Oh dear.... inverted snobbery ahoy!
Well.....I see Barrow was in, then out, & then back in....James was doing the old in & out, & is now out for good....Lady Edith's fire is out....& Lady Mary's fire might be on again....you know....the old in & out with Lord Gillingham.....whose valet was taken out by Mr Bates cuz he did the old involuntary in & out with Anna.

Just saw Downton Abbey, the movie.
I don't know how it'll be experienced by those who haven't
watched the series, but it was great for the audience (some
even in costume), Mrs Revolt & me.
Very satisfying. And Mosley was hilarious.
