Since your belief is that Jehovah and Jesus are not one and the same entity, who do blew the breath (Gen 2:7) for man to be a living being; was it Jesus or Jehovah who did it? Also, why do you think it is Jesus? Or Jehovah?
Thanks!
So, are you essentially saying that it was Jesus who actually did the blowing of the breath?
possibly, but the bible does not specifically say.
It says that God blew into his nostrils the breath of life.
I am lost... first you said:
but then you said:
Why would you say make the first statement when you are aware of the second one?
Your explaining is superb.Great job!yes i thought that might confuse you.
Colosians says that 'all things came into existence through' Christ. And Genesis says that it was God who blew breath into Adam.
So does Genesis mean that God personally blew the breath into him, or did he do it through Jesus.... the bible doesnt specifically say if it was Jesus who blew the breath into the man.
Colossians may or may not mean that Jesus himself brought the man to life. But if he did, then he could only have done it by means of Gods power and under his instruction and if that the case, then Genesis is correct in saying that God blew breath into the man because he is the ultimate source of that breath.
