For those who like me don't remember their terms well: Neti neti - Wikipedia

By the way look how fantastically neat this man's beard is. How does he do that? It looks impossible. Whenever I try that it never comes out neat.

In my view, most live behind a veil of ignorance to the Self until it is decided that one is ready to realize it.

Excellent point. Recently I made a similar point regarding the Biblical resurrection.

Ultimately it isn't observable in true nature, apparently. I'm only speculating out of curiosity. If there is a metaphysical instruction there I'm most likely missing it. Thus the curiosity. The me, no mater if the physical body or some other manifestation of the self wouldn't be observable or the point would be more likely that the me, or self, isn't easily perceivable by the one observing.

    Am I close?! :)

That the physical body doesn't necessarily constitute the self entirely. We are more than our physical, immediately observable physical forms.

[ETA] I just realized that you may have been asking about the point I made regarding resurrection. That is similar in that we are not resurrected in our current bodies. Specifically, that when we are resurrected, according to the Bible, it won't likely be in the bodies we previously possessed.

There is no evidence that is true, imo.

Fair enough. Is there any evidence to the contrary?

Whatever is not yours, let go of it. Your letting go of it will be for your long-term welfare & happiness.

    MN 22

You first need to know who you are and what is yours to be able to let go of what is not your’s.

    ...

The neti neti process IS letting go of all that is not you.
