WHERE IS THE SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS GOD'S 4th COMMANDMENT IS ABOLISHED?

The "bad fruit" of Mt 7:16-18 is with respect to the "false prophets" of Mt 7:15. The bad fruit coming from the Gentile church, such as the Roman church, would be with respect to the Roman Catholic priest pedophiles still working around children in the church, or the Inquisitions done by the church, or the Protestants burning the Catholics in Cromwell's war, and the Protestant Catholic wars in Britain and in Europe, or the recent religious war in Ireland. This is the horse you have tied your cart to. Your false prophet Paul tells a good story, but what are the fruits of that story. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Matthew 7:15-17 15“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
Are you trying to convince me, or yourself? Again, no grace. Just vitriol. By their fruits you shall know them.

Hey guys

Just wondering where is the scripture that says Gods 4th commandment seventh day Sabbath has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest in honor of the resurrection of Jesus?

May God bless you as you seek to know Him through His Word.

Jesus introduced a “new covenant,” based on the better sacrifice of his own perfect human life. Christians come under this new covenant and are subject to Christian laws. The Law covenant came to an end, and while many of its basic laws and principles were adopted into Christianity newly converted Christians were no longer subject to the ten commandments.

One is among the "elect", who are chosen from the foundation of the world, per the grace of God, and not by following the "false prophets" down the wide path to destruction (Matthew 7:13). The message given by the son of man, is only considered "vitriol", by those who have chosen the message given by the enemy (Matthew 13). It is the wide path of the Progressive/humanist, followers of false prophets, whether Marx or the false prophet Paul, who choose to burn the messengers.

Not subject to the 613 precepts but continue to be very much subject to the Ten Commandments.

The "new covenant" you subscribe to is proscribed by way of the false prophet Paul, which nails the Word of God to a pagan cross. Well, the "Word made flesh" says that one must keep the Commandments to enter into life (Matthew 19:17), and to be more "righteous" than the Pharisees to enter into the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:20). To do otherwise, one is eventually going to "fall" (Matthew 7:24-27), and according to Isaiah 22:15-25, to be "cut off". Those who "commit lawlessness", will be "gathered" "first", and thrown into a "furnace of fire" (Matthew 13:30 & 39-42). That is, according to Yeshua, not according to the "enemy", who is the "devil" and his merry men, which include Paul. (Mt 13:30-42).

Mt 13:38-42
and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; 39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 40“So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41“The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Hello Sandra, nice to meet you. Yes I agree that Jesus did introduce a new covenant based on better promises but Hebrews 7:1-25, Hebrews 8:1-13; Hebrews 9:1-27 and Hebrews 10:1-22 are all talking about the shadow laws for the atonement (forgiveness) of sin (no more earthly Sanctuary for sin atonement, which was a copy of the heavenly, no more Levitical Priesthood, no more animal sacrifices and sin offerings, no more annual feast days and ceremonial laws, no more laws around circumcision etc) from the old covenant that are now fulfilled in Christ as Gods sacrifice for the sins of the world once and for all (see John 1:29; 36; Hebrews 10:10) and His role now as our great high Priest in the heavenly Sanctuary that the Lord pitched and not man where he ever makes intercession for us.

None of these scriptures however, say anywhere that God's 10 commandments have been abolished and are no longer the standard of Christian living. There New covenant scriptures teach that Gods 10 commandments give us the knowledge of good (moral right doing when obeyed) and evil (moral wrong doing when disobeyed); sin (moral wrong doing when disobeyed) and righteousness (moral wrong doing when obeyed) *see Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172 and according to James if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. There is no scripture in the entire bible that teaches that Gods 10 commandments have been abolished. That would be a teaching of lawlessness promoting sin and what the bible says is the doctrine of devils.

Both the old and the new covenants, through Jesus and all the Apostles all upheld and taught obedience to Gods 10 commandments as the standard of right doing when obeyed and sin when broken and that the new covenant teaches we all need to be born again to walk in Gods Spirit of love (see John 3:3-7 compare 1 John 3:4-9; Galatians 5:16) to love. This is Gods new covenant promise (see Hebrews 8:10-12 from Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:24-27) to those who believe and follow Gods Word. According to John in 1 John 2:3-4 those who claim to know God and break His commandments do not know God and the truth is not in them. Gods Word does not teach lawlessness. Lawlessness is the bibles definition of what sin is according to the scriptures and those who practice it do not know God and need to be born again according to 1 John 2:3-4 and 1 John 2:4-9.

See the post above this one (post # 747 linked). Gods 10 commandments which include Gods 4th commandment (Exodus 20:8-11) are very much a part of Gods new covenant as the old. According to the scriptures Gods 10 commandments, give us the knowledge of good (moral right doing when obeyed) and evil (moral wrong doing when disobeyed); sin (moral wrong doing when disobeyed) and righteousness (moral wrong doing when obeyed) *see Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172 and according to James if we break anyone of them we stand guilty before God of breaking all of them and sin according to the scriptures, in James 2:10-11; 1 John 3-4.

"I'm faultless because I'm the elect. It's not bad fruit and vitriol when it comes from a sanctified one who stands in judgement of the world, calling all as false prophets and liars and enemies of the Christ who dare to speak against me as a specially chosen one who is made perfect through his strong beliefs....," blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.... I mean seriously, already. You just don't give up, do you? I sure you can't, actually. :)

Do you keep God's Commandments or the decrees of the "beast" of Revelation 13:11, such as keeping Sunday, the day of the sun, as your day of rest, or in the terminology of the Roman church, keep it"holy"? Is the reunited Israel of Ezekiel 37:24 going to "walk in My ordinances, and keep My statutes, and observe them"?

Hey Guys, just wondering if we can get back to the OP?

Where is the scripture that says Gods 4th commandment seventh day Sabbath has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest in honor of the resurrection of Jesus?

God is calling us all out from following man-made teachings and traditions back to His Word so that we can worship Him in Spirit and in truth God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). Its time to unlearn the lies we have all been taught in Sunday school.

May God bless you as you seek to know Him through His Word.

This site contains disinformation as to the Commandments followed by the Catholic Church.
The wording of and the numbering of differs only because Catholics follow the Decalogue in Deut 5:6-21.
You will have to take it up with the authors/editors of the Pentateuch as to why they chose to keep both
Exodus and Deuteronomy. As for the Sunday Sabbath it was clearly the practice of the early church as reflected
in the Gospels and Paul.

The commandments of the Catholic church seem to "delete" the commandment about Idols, and changes the "keeping the Sabbath", to keeping the "LORD's day". Everyone will keep the "day of the LORD"(Joel 2:31-32) for it is with respect to the start of the 7th millennium, the time of the "great tribulation" and "Har-Magedon". You might try and add the chapter and verse where the "church" kept Sunday as the Sabbath day of rest. As for the "message" of the "son of man", well Matthew 12:8 says that the "son of man" is the "Lord of the Sabbath", for which everyone at the time of his message, knew that the Sabbath was the 7th day, as with respect to the creation of the world. And Yeshua was the Lord of the Sabbath, and not the LORD (God) of the Sabbath. It seems your false Trinity dogma is confusing Yeshua with his Father.

So I am guessing after all these pages there is not a single scripture in all the bible that says Gods 4th commandment seventh day Sabbath has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day of rest in honor of the resurrection of Jesus? Then what are we all doing following Sunday worship and breaking Gods 4th commandment which is sin against the very warnings of Jesus given in Matthew 15:3-9?

Well, apparently the Gentile church, the church of Peter and Paul, are taking the false prophet Paul's message to heart, and do not want you to judge them regarding sabbaths. Paul has apparently nailed your law to the cross (Col 2:14). As long as the "leaven" of the Pharisee is mixed with the "bread of life", the "Word of God, you are going to have problems till the "end of the age" (Matthew 13:24-30).
Colossians 2:16 — King James Version (KJV 1900) 16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Colossians 2:14 King James Version 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross

Hello @2ndpillar nice to meet you. I do not think Paul is a false prophet. I believe all scriptures is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16). It is only those people who misinterpret His writings that Peter says for many are hard to understand and twist to their own destruction seeking to justify their sins that are the problem. Thanks for sharing here.

You have several misapprehensions. The false prophet Paul in 2 Timothy 3:16, is talking about the holy writings he has read from his youth, which would not include his spurious notes, which are included in the erroneously dubbed "holy" canon", put together by the bishop of Alexandria in 367 A.D.. As for 2 Peter, well, a lot of academics seem to think Peter was dead when that was written, and it was written by an unknown author. As for Peter himself, Yeshua called him "Satan and a Stumbling Block to me" (Matthew 16:23). Plus Yeshua chose the "worthless shepherd" Peter along with Judas to fulfill the "Law and the Prophets" with respect to Zechariah 11:12-13 & 16-17). I think you are building your "house" on a foundation of sand, which is to say, it may be only tottering now, but it is going to fall (Matthew 7:24-27).

  • 2 Peter 3:14-17 14, Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. 15, And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16, As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 17, Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.
Do you believe the Apostle Peter is telling the truth here dear friend?

According to Yeshua in Matthew 16:23, Peter is "Satan, and a stumbling block to me". Matthew 7:13-23 describes the false prophets with the description of Paul, who you claim to speak for God, and yet he called on the name of the Lord, did miracles, cast out demons, yet "I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness", which is directly aimed at your false prophet Paul, whereas at the "end of age", which is now, the "stumbling blocks", such as Peter, and "those who commit lawlessness" as proscribed by Paul nailing the law to his pagan cross, shall all be "gathered out" and thrown into the "furnace of fire". Peter was chosen to fulfill Zechariah 11:16-17, whereas he is the "worthless shepherd" who would not feed, care or tend the flock". You have wasted most of your life preaching a false gospel, the devil's false gospel of grace. (Matthew 13:38-40). Yeshua's message was the message of the "kingdom", which at the end, will be preached to the world, when the Gentiles/nations, will bow down to the king in Jerusalem (Zech 14:16), and he rule over them with a "rod of iron" (Rev 19:15).

Matthew 7:22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’

So you believe Peter is Satan and Paul is his false prophet? Well you are unique. I have never heard that one before. You are twisting scripture. I do agree however that the test to know if someone is from God or not from God is if they believe and obey what Gods Word says. However, your view on Peter and Paul is not biblical and is twisting scripture so we will agree to disagree on that one.
