    Indeed: All christianity-- no exceptions-- seem to cherry-pick which is "real" and which is "allegory".

    I suppose they must, else they'd forever be caught in irreconcilable cognitive dissonance; I mean, even more than what's required to be a theist...

    Correct me if I'm wrong: the Orthodox Jewish rejection of homosexuality seems to have limited consequences in Israel: applicants for Israeli citizenship have to satisfy certain requirements. several of which have to be evaluated by one or more Israeli Orthodox Jews. So, I suspect, an openly homosexual immigrant would not be granted Israeli citizenship.

    Policies can, of course, change, but as of 2014 the allowing a non-Jewish spouse to make aliyah with the Jewish spouse under the Law of Return was expanded to allow the non-Jewish same sex spouse to make aliyah with the Jewish spouse.
