In 70 AD Syrians, Egyptians and Arabs fought alongside the Roman troops of Titus and Vespasian because they were part of the Roman Empire.

Palestine was considered a province of Syria from the time of Greek Historian Herodotus in 500 BC.
Gee, what does the map you posted call the country on the East side around Jerusalem. Why, look, it calls it Judea, not Palestine.

Actually, you might give some thought to the morality of stripping people of their identity and heritage.

Its no secret that Judea despised Israel..
You mean like how the Romans, Ottomans, British and Arabs have repeatedly tried to strip the Jews of their identity and heritage?

The kingdoms of Judea and Israel have a mixed history. Sometimes they got along and other times they fought.

It's not unlike the Civil War in the USA regarding slavery.

The Philistines were native to Canaan. Their cities were Ashdod, Ekron, Ashkelon, Gath, and Gaza. Today they are called the "Palestinians". Along with the Syrians, they will conquer and punish Israel when the Messiah comes. Isaiah 9:12. See also Isaiah 11:14. Isaiah 14:29. "Rejoice not thou whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent".
There is no evidence at all that the Palestinians are related to the ancient Philistines, although the name is related.

Most of today's Palestinians had ancestors a few generations ago that came from Jordan and other nearby Arab countries. For example, Yassir Arafat was born in Cairo, Egypt. They are essential immigrants and the children/grandchildren of immigrants to the land.

There are really very few real Palestinians. These seem to be the descendants of ancient Jews who converted to Islam back in the sixth century at the point of a sword.
