When The Justice Juggernaut Goes Bad

I would like to tell some politicians:
If you are Satanists, confess, just say it.
Liberate yourselves, we will find out anyway, sooner or later, dears.

I don't believe that there is any being known as "Satan," although I do wish our politicians would be compelled to confess just the same. Not that they're Satanists, but that they haven't acted in good faith for the benefit of the people. If they've violated the trust the public has placed in them, then they should confess.

I don't really care about anyone's religion (or lack of religion), but in the end, I'd rather have an honest Satanist than a dishonest Christian in office any day.

Except that it's fear which is the root cause of hatred.
I know the Prez was just trying to be pithy.
Can't list all the things to fear, eg, danger.
The message was to not be fearful.
But said in a manner that annoys my inner pedant.

Hatred isn't always caused by fear.
And sometimes hatred causes fear.
IMO.

Confess? Gee, thanks. At least know we know where you stand, and that is we are guilty of something to "confess" without even actually being guilty of anything.
And no, there aren't any Satanists in US politics. That falls under the BS claims that inspires this thread.

Do you know the expression Excusatio non petita, accusatio manifesta?

If you think Satanism is absolutely normal, what's wrong with saying "there can be Satanists in the Congress, in the Pentagon, and in the FBI"?
It seems a contradiction to me.

It's as if Satanism were something not to be proud of...that people need to cover it up.

If I say "there can be Zoroastrians in the Congress" why doesn't anybody say anything against it?

I care about what people actually do.
Not which deity they worship.

Can I speak English?
Because at times I feel like I am speaking a different language and nobody understands me, here.
What I said is that I respect all Satanists,

but I fail to comprehend those people who don't practice their own faith aboveboard.

Can I speak English?
It appears so.
Because at times I feel like I am speaking a different language and nobody understands me, here.
What I said is that I respect all Satanists,
It still doesn't seem that way.
For example, posting the vile video
to expose the Bidens as Satanists.
That's not something done out of love.
but I fail to comprehend those people who don't practice their own faith aboveboard.
Your perspective is one in a dominant religion
where you live. It can be different when one
is in the minority, especially the wrong minority.

There's an idiom in Italian: "having the tail of straw".
It's a pity that in English there is no such an idiom.

I do believe Satanists have the tail of straw. ;) With all the outmost respect.
Easy to say for a Christian in a Christian country.

I agree that there are some rational fears and legitimate things to fear, but it doesn't mean we have to become gripped by fear, which can lead to panic and (sometimes) unwise decisions. Just as people should refrain from making important decisions when they're angry, the same should apply when they're feeling fear.

It's not a matter of fear.
I fear nobody and nothing, for example.
I would like to know, for example what that pyramid and the eye drawn in the one dollar bill, mean.
And why it is written an expression from the fourth Eclogue of the Bucolic: novus ordo seclorum.
What they mean by Annuit coeptis,

When cops & prosecutors decide to go after people,
it's amazing how far they & ancillaries (eg, psychologists)
'll go, & what they'll do to convict people. This happens
on both sides of the northern border.

It's fascinating how people (Christians) & government
will demonize Satanists & witches, imagining fantastic
scenarios, & fabricating evidence to support this.

To make sure I'm getting the gist here, could a summary be something like:

Sometimes when Christians are in power, they use their power to unfairly persecute non-Christians?

FWIW, given a choice between baby sitters for my extended family, I'd take the Satanist before I'd take a Christian nationalist.
