So one of the things about Jesus is that he's pretty hard to pin down.
Not only can cultures not agree on what he should look like (see Korean Jesus memes), but they can't even agree when they agree Jesus is real what he would act like.
Conservatives see him as straight-laced, perfect, almost like a Pharisee. Some conservatives are convinced Trump is the second coming, but let's advise against comparing real people to Jesus for now.
Liberals see him as a hippie almost, and depending on how radical they are, may use his table flipping as an example of how Jesus is in favor of a socialist new order of peace and love or something. Or something.
Anyway, suppose for a second Jesus applied for office. Would he in fact even be a guy the second time around? What would Jesus/Jessica's social policies be? How would Jesus handle the economy? Would you vote for Jesus? And would Jesus be impeached, serve one term or two, or try to become president for life?
I wanr you to imagine this guy, and talk about what is involved in this sort of thing.

Here's my take. Jesus would run as independent, but managed to secure enough of the popular votes to speak (Independent Party typically needs like over 16% or something to even be heard due to screwy rules). Somebody incredibly charismatic, but elected mainly because both liberals and conservatives are dissatisfied with the establishment candidates. Let's call this one Jessica Emmanuel Christos. Let's say she's Latino, and around 36 and still very attractive. She's Protestant though, so not quite as much a hit with other Latinos as most, but she seems devout. She promises to help the poor, and reduce government involvement in people's lives.
I'm gonna make her neutral on the gun rights issue (although against having a license to own a gun, or licenses in general), pro-life, and pro-LGBT right to marry. Her husband is genderfluid and frequently presents as female and her child is a lesbian in a committed relationship, making her a little weird to the conservatives, but she's very much in support of small business, lower taxes, and fewer regulations. She's in favor of hunting and fishing without needing licenses, but also in favor of national preserves. She's also in favor of a safety net for the poor (mainly public parks where homeless can sleep and can eat when they are hungry, allowing tent camping on all forested areas and planting fruit trees on public land). She's worked how to do this without yearly taxpayer expense.
She does have enemies though. Mainly the big state which makes money off of high taxes, the military hates her because she basically uses them for almost nothing (they defend the nation against invasion, but don't engage in any wars ever), and probably the priests who say she's living a sketchy life considering her husband and daughter.
I'm gonna say she runs into trouble when the public wants her as president for life, and the big state tries to discredit her.
