When Jesus Comes To Rule

So one of the things about Jesus is that he's pretty hard to pin down.

Not only can cultures not agree on what he should look like (see Korean Jesus memes), but they can't even agree when they agree Jesus is real what he would act like.

Conservatives see him as straight-laced, perfect, almost like a Pharisee. Some conservatives are convinced Trump is the second coming, but let's advise against comparing real people to Jesus for now.
Liberals see him as a hippie almost, and depending on how radical they are, may use his table flipping as an example of how Jesus is in favor of a socialist new order of peace and love or something. Or something.

Anyway, suppose for a second Jesus applied for office. Would he in fact even be a guy the second time around? What would Jesus/Jessica's social policies be? How would Jesus handle the economy? Would you vote for Jesus? And would Jesus be impeached, serve one term or two, or try to become president for life?

I wanr you to imagine this guy, and talk about what is involved in this sort of thing.

======================
Here's my take. Jesus would run as independent, but managed to secure enough of the popular votes to speak (Independent Party typically needs like over 16% or something to even be heard due to screwy rules). Somebody incredibly charismatic, but elected mainly because both liberals and conservatives are dissatisfied with the establishment candidates. Let's call this one Jessica Emmanuel Christos. Let's say she's Latino, and around 36 and still very attractive. She's Protestant though, so not quite as much a hit with other Latinos as most, but she seems devout. She promises to help the poor, and reduce government involvement in people's lives.

I'm gonna make her neutral on the gun rights issue (although against having a license to own a gun, or licenses in general), pro-life, and pro-LGBT right to marry. Her husband is genderfluid and frequently presents as female and her child is a lesbian in a committed relationship, making her a little weird to the conservatives, but she's very much in support of small business, lower taxes, and fewer regulations. She's in favor of hunting and fishing without needing licenses, but also in favor of national preserves. She's also in favor of a safety net for the poor (mainly public parks where homeless can sleep and can eat when they are hungry, allowing tent camping on all forested areas and planting fruit trees on public land). She's worked how to do this without yearly taxpayer expense.

She does have enemies though. Mainly the big state which makes money off of high taxes, the military hates her because she basically uses them for almost nothing (they defend the nation against invasion, but don't engage in any wars ever), and probably the priests who say she's living a sketchy life considering her husband and daughter.

I'm gonna say she runs into trouble when the public wants her as president for life, and the big state tries to discredit her.

Jesus doesn't run for office. Jesus is like Godzilla, he don't care about no popular vote. Jesus is going to stomp Tokyo whether Tokyo likes it or not. Ever ask a hurricane or an earthquake whether you can vote on it? Not happening.

Awww, but it would be so cool to see Jesus in a three-piece suit with miniskirt on campaign trail being like "Vote for me, and you will be saved."

"So one of the things about Jesus is that he's pretty hard to pin down."

Seems like commitment issues to me. He was a carpenter and as one let me tell you. He really didnt seem to have a regular job or place to stay. He seems to have had a rather over bearing stage mother and to be honest no one really understood much about what he was talking about except he did it in such a manner that drew people to him. He never bothered to write a single word...he died, they all fled thrown into chaos and he arose from the dead and everyone understood.

Taken all together one would assume we wouldnt even be talking about him at this time, yet here we are.

The text doesnt tell us about him, as much as it reveals who we are at rather deep levels.

I can create an infinite set of narratives about the text but none of them are the text. Like the one i created to fit a certain type of bias conciously. Most arent even aware they do that at the sub concious level. That is a serious sliver and common thats why he died. What is love. Thats why this story exists in real time today.

Lol!!!! Omg my line!!!!!

Do i think he is? Hahabawaaaah of course not. He wrote the entire new testament without lifting a pen. Thats some real magic right there.shhhh secret.

To breathe interesting word breathe. Did you know that at the start of this whole shindig called our existence that it was artfully told, that god breathed into clay. Now the original usage and meaning is to inspire into. Look up the term . The new testament was breathed into, insire into all those folks. Remarkable. And they breathed out thus the text.

Breathing a rather remarkable phenomea. Totally automatic for most. In fact, if we are going about our life totally automatically, not paying attention we will see the universe as a reflection of the state in which we exist as automatic automatically. Thats why automatic is a projection onto the universe, just rote behavior like a rabbit and about that bright. Scientists ha rabbits!!!! Although religion is squirrels.

But, if you breathe in as the universe breathes out and you breathe out as the universe breathes in w1ell, now jesus becomes a bit easier to understand. He inspires into me i breathe out to him. And that breathing out came into the form of the new testament. Which my scribbles are but poor poor scratches. But scratch i must 3 cords at a time .

I recommend that exercise. with trees easier more direct!!!! One breath across all of time. And that crazy talk is what really underlays the text. Most just go around being automatics. They come here to RF to argue which automatic is correct! Thats why i say often breathing awesome the best you all should try it some time!! Few listen. Jesus? Big big breather thats why it was so easy for him to see us. Not so easy the other way around.

Jesus would not be involved in world politics. As He said "My kingdom is not of this world" The world is under a strong delusion. The world governmental system is controlled at the top by people who worship lucifer or satan and they answer to satan in person who tells them what to do.

The world system is diametrically opposed to Jesus in every way. While they operate completely in the dark hiding themselves in absolute falsehood. Using propaganda and disinformation. Jesus is the truth and will reveal the things that are hidden in the darkness. If their kingdom is exposed it is destroyed so they make lies their refuge. But Jesus kingdom is established on truth.

This is why in the prophecies world governments are described as dangerous beasts. When Jesus returns it will be in unveiled glory to destroy those who are destroying the earth. Their will be no hiding place any longer and they will be exposed and consumed by the brightness of His coming.

He never bothered to write a single word...he died, they all fled thrown into chaos and he arose from the dead and everyone understood.

Actually, he wasn't a carpenter, aside from apocryphal accounts of him building a table in the Infancy Gospels.

He was a carpenter's son. And even that's not true since he was really a carpenter's adopted son, so that really don't pin down much of anything. We also know that he was an actual Rabbi (Pharisees call him this repeatedly, as do even the sinners, and more importantly he actually goes into a temple and reads the scroll and gives a sermon on it... before they run him out of town). But wait, you ask, what do you mean he was a Rabbi?

After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.

A child prodigy would doubtless find tutors that would help him get credentials.

Yet, he wasn't a priest (Cohen) because he didn't play by the rules.

It could be that his mom was a stage mother, but this doesn't add up. Stage moms tend to seek attention for their kid, not flee to Egypt and live anonymously. They did their best to hide what Jesus naturally was. It was more like he had an annoying stage Dad, because he frequently did miracles and had to tell people "don't tell anyone" or outright flee to another country until things cooled off.

Jesus would not be involved in world politics. As He said "My kingdom is not of this world" The world is under a strong delusion. The world governmental system is controlled at the top by people who worship lucifer or satan and they answer to satan in person who tells them what to do.

No, he wouldn't be a politician. When Jesus comes to rule, though, we're not talking about this.

As someone said about Daniel 7:14 talks about his dominion. But unlike the secular politics of the antichrists of this world, his kingdom will create a New Heaven and a New Earth.

The delusion is exactly that these powers rule in the first place!

10So Pilate said to Him, “Do You refuse to speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You and authority to crucify You?” 11Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me if it were not given to you from above...”

But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them. 26It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave— 28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

33"Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted
a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and
built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers
and went away on a journey. 34When the harvest time approached,
he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit.
35"The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another,
and stoned a third. 36Then he sent other servants to them, more
than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way.
37Last of all, he sent his son to them. 'They will respect my son,'
he said.
38"But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other,
'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him and take his inheritance.'
39So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40"Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he
do to those tenants?" 41"He will bring those wretches to a wretched
end," they replied, "and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants,
who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time."

Satan's greatest lie is that he doesn't exist. But do you know the second greatest lie? That he is in charge, that evil is in charge. He appears to be in charge, now, but these are tenants. People temporarily placed in power to run the vineyard. When Jesus comes back, he(she?) will come to not to lord over people but to govern.

So how would this look, this spiritual Earth where Jesus returns? Is it anarchy? Some sort of weird mix of socialism and capitalism? Some green utopia like Eden?

The adpoted i like." Hey joseph whats up oh i see ya dragging around ******* child ya adopted"

" ah yea he is worthless already at 8. Like his mom kinda spacy..i donno what i was thinking oh i know i wasnt thinking, being a man and now i am stuck with it and its spacey mother. Should a knocked em in the head when i had a chance" " he has promised me that when i am dead he will get back at me start crap up like i love him and others or some stupid crap like that . He is always threatening me with his crap he says" i will tell them i have no earthly father but a heavenly father and point to you in the sky and say" he loves yoi"" do you know how annoying this child is to me such bs."

Josephs friend laughed very hard at all the twisted irony this wicked child could fester up in his little brain. For his friend knew joseph really didnt like people at all. Because everyone knew carpenter is a term for" he who cant stand people so he works with his hands" not remotely even retail too annoying.

I think thats consistent

He wouldn't come back as himself.

There are too many people who can identify him as such.

Remember, Jesus is supposed to come "like a thief in the night."

The recognized depiction of Jesus would be the absolute last way Jesus would appear before us, because it in fact is an image.

And as they talked and deliberated, Jesus Himself came up and walked along with them. 16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing Him.

This is a recurring theme after the Resurrection. Jesus is completely transformed. There's also the bit about the "least of these" showing that in fact, Jesus can now take many forms.

and that scenario leaves all believers looking in every direction
and failing to know Him on sight
