When divining for others...

an anarchist

Your local anarchist.
I have used the I Ching for divination in the past. I have done amateur readings for other people before. The I Ching requires you to toss some coins for the fortune. Should I be tossing the coins or do I let the person I'm helping toss the coins?

Pronouns: he/him/they/them
I can see arguments for both. You the one divining so you tossing it makes sense. However you divining for another it also makes sense for them to toss it. So you could go either way depending on what you think makes more sense according to your practice.
