What's the single most important thing the President should address?

Sometimes it's better to focus on doing one thing really well, than tying to do many things half-assed.

What one thing should Biden try to do well?

It's kind of unsettling when you think media controls the direction of public opinion and thoughts.
I think the proliferation of information outlets with the internet and cable TV channels still needs maturing. Those that stir up the most emotion currently get too much attention. My MSN news feed is just full of any salacious story they can find and presented in the most salacious manner. This bombardment skews people's impression of what is really going on out there.

Optimistically, I think people will mature to see these media sources for what they are.

I prefer doing many things well.
It's certainly possible.
And focusing upon one thing doesn't mean doing it well.
Moreover, other important things would be ignored.
What one thing should Biden try to do well?
Work on avoiding war around the globe.

Given the numbers who get their opinions from Fox and similar far-right outlets and the number who get their opinion from Daily Kos etc, the media may not control public opinion but their influence is very very large.

As far as what Biden should address. Internationally supporting Ukraine is my choice. Domestically it's the economy.

But along with that, it's impossible to focus on one thing in today's world.

Re-establish trust in democracy.
Well, that's not one thing, it's a host of things. He'd have to fight voter suppression, Gerrymandering, money in politics and do what's legally possible for him to get Trump and his cronies behind bars - and that all without looking too partisan.

To me the answer is: fight corruption.

The oligarchs and the 1%ers and such have corrupted the system so thoroughly that it seems to me that any other issue we're facing has been either created or made much, much worse do to corruption. Education, healthcare, climate change, obesity, environmental degradation, quality of goods, unemployment, extreme partisanship, wealth and income inequality and on and on and on. All made worse via corruption.
