This verse is a warning.
Here in this life, we think ourselves safe from recourse, for what we do in private, what we do in secret....no one else will discover.
But as we die...what we truly are comes forth.
What we have said...whatever we have done...can be seen by all others.

Here now your thoughts and feelings are held to yourself.
Unless you speak of deeds done quietly....
Unless your private records are read by others...
No one really knows who you really are.
When your body fails...the spirit that you are is no longer held...out of sight.
In the spirit...we are as transparent as glass.
