Pancakes and an egg for breakfast. A turkey sandwich with salad for lunch. I'm working on a late dinner of bean soup.

My lunch was ridiculous. I had Philly cheesesteak poutine.

(BTW: poutine and butter tarts are the two Canadian foods that I'm honestly surprised haven't caught on in the US)

I eat basically the same breakfast and lunch everyday. In this, I'm very boring. It's cereal and milk in the morning. Toast and melted cheese in the afternoon.

Dinner is always a toss-up. Tonight it's steelhead, salad, apples, and mashed potatoes.

I love that joke. It's right up there with "how do you take your coffee? Orally!"

My day has been all mixed up. Leftover Pollo ai Pepperoni (not the kind of pepperoni that you are thinking of) over polenta for breakfast. French toast and bacon for lunch. No dinner yet.

I had picadillo on tortilla, and homemade gordita stuffed with beans. My middle son turned 9, so there was also birthday cake(strawberry) and ice cream(cotton candy).

I made a turkey stew from veggies, turkey and left-over gravy. Lots of gravy.

The best part of a turkey is the gravy. If you ever can buy a turkey back, they are sometimes on sale when a store cuts some turkeys up for parts. Snatch that puppy up. The back is loaded with fat and makes very good gravy and is much cheaper than the other parts. And then you have bones for turkey stock when you are done.

No breakfast besides coffee today, I was rushing. I snacked throughout the day on smaller things: protein bar, yogurt, some crackers. Tonight I had a protein shake after the gym and then had black bean and veggie soup.

Oatmeal for breakfast, which was at about 2 pm, a Chimichanga for a snack at about 8 pm, and I will have a TV dinner with a side of stir fry vegetables and garlic bread for dinner.

Mexican food is my favorite. I want @Subduction Zone to come down and cook some for me since that is his specialty. :D
