This happens all of the time in low quality journalism. Why would sensationalist journalists in the US know accurately how many Jews were in Soviet Union?
People often make up numbers or guesstimate them or just repeat what others say uncritically.
Surely you must accept this is common, agreed?
It’s barely even a coincidence given one was talking about number of Jews in Soviet Union and the other was something that happened as part of a Nazi genocide that was obviously not planned by bankers 20 years previously in the context of the USSR.
It wasn’t even planned by Nazis before WW2.
And history shows educated and intelligent people are often susceptible to narratives that make them right and the foolish masses wrong.
Justice matters more to some of us than others.
Let's say you are a courtroom juror.
A man named mister X says that Mr Y will die soon, by the means of stabbing.
It turns out that Mr Y, after a while is found dead, with a stab wound in the heart.
You will say that MR X is totally innocent and his prediction is a mere coincidence.
Right?
Educated and intelligent people can put two and two together.
We have learned from history. No politician can ever fool us again with a stupid, primitive, animalistic concept named war.

Back then there were roughly 12 million Jews all over the world.
So according to your reasoning, 6 million Jews were exterminated in Russia, in 1921 (as the article claims)
while the other 6 million Jews were exterminated in Auschwitz, in 1943-1945 right?

It doesn’t say 6 million were exterminated. Just read the articles you posted.
It said 6 million were at risk because they lived in USSR/Russia where there was oppression.
But if you won’t even read your own articles properly then there’s not much I can do to change your mind on this.
If it helps, some people today say all black people in America are at risk of being killed by racist police. This doesn’t mean police will actually kill all of them or even 1% of them.
Risk of violence and death are very different.

You find perfectly normal that they guessed the exact number (six million) which is the exact number of Jewish people killed during the genocide of the fourties. Jews from Western Europe, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, etc...
