Jesus didn't act like a Jew , he didn't know many Jewish customs from what I understand.

He was called a rabbi, but comes across overwhelmingly under-qualified to even be one.

One could argue Jewish by birth on the matriarch side, but that's about it.

The question is , what makes Jesus Jewish least of all to be called King of the Jews?

Jesus was a Hellenized jew. When he read from the scroll in the synagogue, he quoted, not the Hebrew scriptures but the Greek Septuagint. Hebraic Jews at that time despised the Septuagint and considered them an inferior translation of the Hebrew. If Jesus was a Hebraic Jew of Jewish decent he would have quoted the Hebraic scriptures. Most of the hellenized Jews disappeared by 200 - 250 AD, by converting to Christianity. Thus the reason he was rejected by Hebraic Judaism.

That explains why we don't believe in Jesus, not that he wasn't Jewish (assuming he existed).

Well for one he is dead or presumed dead and hence you don’t believe the Messiah dies but alas The Holy Qur’an states that he didn’t die

and then... Book 5 of Psalms opens and closes with songs about how the freedom with happen and how they will be brought home to the promised land

Psalm 107 as well as Psalms 146 147 bookend the 'coming home' songs with songs about he who opens blind eyes, heals the broken hearted, frees the prisons
It is the theme of the greater Jubilee of Leviticus and Isaiah 61

And no wonder Americans refer to it on the Liberty bell ringing freedom throughout the land !!!
