Jesus didn't act like a Jew , he didn't know many Jewish customs from what I understand.

He was called a rabbi, but comes across overwhelmingly under-qualified to even be one.

One could argue Jewish by birth on the matriarch side, but that's about it.

The question is , what makes Jesus Jewish least of all to be called King of the Jews?

Jesus certainly seems to have had the social conscience typically associated with Jews of that and other periods. A social conscience that is quite distinguishable from the Greek/Roman social conscience of the time.

Precisely which social customs do you believe Jesus failed to understand? And what is your evidence he failed to understand them?

Beyond that, since when does one expect all Jews to agree on the precise same things? Jeebers!

Is the Bible in the age of genetics. Are you like, is he a half-god like Heracles? Actually! I guess the conclusion of the Nicene creed, the cast out of the Nestorian, monophysite, and miaphysite, just about concludes Jesus to be a Heraclesian Half-God type figure! Isn't it! Seems so... Anyway... Greeks!

*edit that was the chalcedonic creed.

Well obviously the OP sounds silly. He goes to synagogue, he claims the superior qualities of the Jewish nation. Everybody else is an outsider.

On second thought, the OP is brilliant! Brilliant! The very name "Jesus" sounds much, much more Hispanic than Jewish. How could I have missed it all my life. Jesus was not Jewish. JESUS WAS MEXICAN!

Jesus had a profound knowledge of the scriptures and amazed the teachers in the temple even as a youth.

His life showed it. His miracles showed it. Him rising from the dead showed it.

He was very Jewish and he was descended from Abraham and David. That would be from his mother's side since he was virgin born according to the promise to Eve of the seed of the woman defeating the serpent.

    He was the Jewish Messiah.

That's right before the harmful influences upon the Aztec culture , upon the true Mexican Presbyterian peoples, by the Spanish. Just do that throw the basketball on the temple grounds thing Aztec thing.

I didn't see a source for your claims, so I don't really know where you could have gotten that Jesus didn't act like a Jew.
How do Jews act, and are you referring to Jews you know personally, modern day Jews?
People don't act like they did decades ago, according to many older folk.
Do Jews living today act the same as Jews living 2000 years ago; 4000 years ago?
How would you know? What is your source?

If you are using the Bible as your source, then I would say that answers the question.

He was Jewish not Pharisee. Big difference between common Jews and sects like the Pharisees and Sadducees. They considered themselves spiritual elite groups. Jesus was hanging out with fishermen and other "villagers". Simple people really who Pharisees would look down on as commoners. So He's Jewish. Just not the trendy self important type.

Lots of Jews didn't/don't. That's not what makes a Jew.

    That's true.

That's all it takes to be a Jew. So unfortunately, that makes him Jewish.

Like you said, he was born from a Jewish mother. Obviously he wasn't a king, but he was a Jew.

Assuming that this ambiguous person existed he was circumcised and stated that he came to uphold the law, not change it. How Jewish can one be?
