Greetings to all those curious enough to click on this thread I am creating ...

The world-situation does look grim if you watch the nightly news or surf the web.

Some might say that there is no solution and we may be heading for complete collapse ...

So as my little contribution to a better world, here's a site all about love.

Do we underestimate the power of love? Probably - especially when the world seems divided into "us" & "them" and the advice to "love your enemies" can seem a trifle naive maybe ... oh well I have taken up enough of your time ... here is the page I was talking about - messages dating back 15 years or so -

Love can be a dangerous weapon, it can inspire people to fight to the death. What is currently missing from the world is compassion and understanding, with these two things humans can always survive. Compassion and understanding may lead to love but will never lead to war.
