What the socialist State is for

Since most members agree with me on Socialism, (that is Socialism is whenever the State is on the common citizens' side, and only secondly on big capitalists' side), I have decided to clarify that the principles of the Socialist State are enshrined in the Preamble of the American Constitution:

We the People of the United States,: it means all the commoners, first of all, regardless of gender, race, religion, social conditions, political and philosophical opinions.

in Order to form a more perfect Union,
it means all states of the Union must cooperate together for the Common Good.

in Order to establish Justice,
it means that justice is equal for all, and all citizens deserve to be treated equally. To have same political, social, economic opportunities. The right to work and to contribute, according to one's inclinations to the Common Good of the society.

in Order to insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, it means that all the People should cooperate to defend the citizens from any attack, foreign or not, that aims at destroying the constitutional order.

in Order to promote the general Welfare, it means that the Common Good must be the focus, the center of any legislative activity (lawmaking process). General welfare means that all citizens have right to happiness, and not just few lounge-loving and moneyed élites who would want to own it all (all properties), leaving the populace with nothing.

and in Order to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, it means that American citizens shall always remain free, because freedom is the principle of a just society.

do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

When it was written it didn't mean that. "We the people" were land-owning, white males back then.

Same thing as for the French Revolution. When they wrote the Declaration des droits de l'homme et du citoyen, they just meant that lounge-loving and moneyed Freemasonic elites, led by Robespierre.
The difference is that the French (and Europeans in general) don't let leaders dupe them.
And they beheaded the deceitful Freemasons.

Einverstanden? ;)

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

Now "we the people" has transferred over to being exclusively the government and only the government. along with its exclusive power holders and privileged.

It's pretty clear the common denominator here is definitely not the common general citizenry whatsoever.

As for only whites, that's not entirely true. There were landowning colored folks who also voted and some even held office.

Did You Know: Women and African Americans Could Vote in NJ before the 15th and 19th Amendments? (U.S. National Park Service)

Those elites killed both JFK and MLK in the same decade...so I guess race has little to do with it.

"But only single women could vote because married women could not own property."

"African Americans in the state could vote if they met the residency and property requirements. In 1797, the New Jersey government required voters to be free inhabitants."

"In 1807, the state legislature restricted suffrage (voting rights) to tax-paying, white male citizens."

Wow. That didn't last long.

So, only a few token women and black voters around? To make white men feel better about being jerks?

I agree that this is basically what it should mean today.

I wouldn't really say token. Up until the 20th century the requirement to be able to vote in the UK was being landed. Unlanded men could not even vote. So the women and black folks here were less token and more just based on what made anyone eligible to vote according to current standards.

It occurs to me that, on paper, every philosophical belief puts their best foot forward and will make their principles sound quite good and noble. What matters more is whether they practice what they preach. Actions always speak louder than words.

The élites treat the Constitutions like toilet paper.

Pardon my bluntness, but that's how they disrespect them, every day.
