What is your favorite musical?

IndigoChild5559

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
Mine is Phantom of the Opera. We had the CD first, and my 4 year old daughter had the entire libretto memorized. I took her to Pantages Theater, and it completely mesmerized both of us.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
I'd have to say Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory followed up by The Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar , and Tommy.

Damm.. I just don't have one favorite but many.

I saw a live performance of Phantom Of The Opera.

Cats was even worse. It had one song.
A much over-exposed song.

Many that I like, but my favorites (ranked)....
A Nightmare Before Christmas
The Music Man
Candide
Oklahoma
The Blues Brothers
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Pennies From Heaven
Little Shop Of Horrors

It's important to know musicals
so that one can appreciate
Randy Rainbow.

I don't have favorites, but here are some I've loved, in order of how many times I've seen them:

I understand how you feel. :) Mary Poppin is for me such a close runner up to Phantom.

Les Misérables-- both the play and the movie.

Next is Phantom of the Opera which was saw in Toronto. However, it's sad for us as my parents went with us but then my mother died from cancer a short while later. I still can't listen to the music without tears flooding my eyes.
