What is opposite of socialism?

What do you think is the opposite of socialism? Is it anarchism?

What is socialism? I believe it's an idea. System - Rule - Balance - United.

What is the opposite? Is it a reality? Is it lawlessness? Violation?

I'd say the opposite of socialism would be; instead of transferring wealth from private citizens to politicians,

do it the other way - give it back to those who earned it. Kinda like the American revolution v the Russian revolution, remind me which worked out better?

Socialism is multifaceted: it's a political system, it's an economic system, it's an ideology.
At it's core, it's about realizing that the resources of the world belong to the people collectively, and that they should be managed by the people collectively.

It's opposite are those ideas, economic systems, and political systems that run contrary to that core idea: private ownership of resources, oligarchy, unfettered capitalism.

You know I would think that if socialism is an order, then the opposite would be a disorder - anarchy.

Capitalism is more like lawlessness and cooperation at the same time. Is it not?

No, I wouldn't agree with that.

I don't know if there's so much an opposite to socialism as there are ideologies opposed to socialism.
