Where has the beauty gone?
When rivers flowed
And the sun set as one
When only exuberance existed
And the brown smog didn't block out the sun
Back in time
When remorseless titans roamed the green
No stone was disturbed
No evil was seen
When the winds sang His name
And leaves fell to the ground without pain
When the sun smiled on earth
Before green was given it's name
Back in time
When rain fell lightly
Bidding youth to come out and play
And fed the brown giants, begging them to stay
When the atmosphere was filled with simplicity
And every breath that was lost
Was easily returned
When green valleys and trees grew without concern
Back in time
When ocean depths lay forever unknown
The stars and the sky remained hidden, alone
But time twisted, showing the malignance of our nature
The stars fell, leaving us cold
Take my back in time, take me back home
Where I may turn over the first stone...
