What do you think professor Biden?

And they expect him to share a debate stage with Trump??? A guy who has no shame in hitting below the belt?? This is how low we have sunk.

Both have shown they are capable of verbal foibles. You've heard Trump ramble, right? A debate between them would be...entertaining.

In case you didn't know, Biden has "fought" a stuttering problem all his life and, I have heard some specialists say, this can cause some verbal blunders. And he is getting old :). But such things pale in comparison to the things Trump says - intentionally, IMHO.

I didn't know that, actually...

So pathetic, and I'm not referring to Biden. :(

Two years ago, Lindsey Graham referred to Biden as being probably the most moral politician he ever has known, and even recently Meghan McCain has said much the same, and they're both Republicans.

Thus, the problem is not so much with Biden than it is with those who fabricate stories to denigrate those in the other political "tribe" while blindly praising the super-hero in their own "tribe".
No, the problem is Biden. The man has problems. Nor is that just opinion of political opponents. Trying to ignore his issues won’t make them go away.

Why are you trying to change the subject? This thread is about Joe Biden’s claims to have been a Professor after he left the Senate.

You want it to be that President Trump and his Administration experts have different positions and division. They don’t. Since President Trump isn’t “going against the health experts” your point is moot.
Do you read the news?

"Trump stood by his suggestion on Tuesday, saying he wanted the US open for business by Easter, just 19 days away. “I think it’s possible. Why isn’t it? We’ve never controlled the country before and we’ve had some flus and some viruses. I think it’s absolutely possible,” Trump told Fox News. “We have to get our country back to work. Our country wants to go back to work.

The administration is now reportedly considering easing some physical distancing directives in order to halt the collapse of the economy.

Many experts think that’s a terrible idea.

The result would be “an open door to chaos”, said Professor Michael Greenberger, a former counselor to the United States attorney general and now director of the Center for Health and Homeland Security at the University of Maryland.

“If it is just a question of whether we go down the public health track or we follow free enterprise, unmitigated by public health concerns, it would be folly to make things worse,” he said. “I think that calculus has to take into account that people are going to get sick and die.”

Greenberger said he could understand the desire to support the economy but that such short-term thinking could be devastating.

Trump's 'back-to-work' plan would only make things worse, experts say

His health expert contradicted him saying that is not advisable. Here was Trump's response.

On Thursday, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, reportedly told Pence that day that the "virus has adapted extremely well to human species" and appears to have a higher mortality rate than the flu virus.

"We are dealing with a serious virus," Fauci said.

After that, The New York Times reported that Fauci told associates the White House instructed him not to say anything else without further clearance. And on Friday, Fauci told lawmakers during a congressional briefing that he "was not muzzled" by Pence's office but that he was told not to do a series of planned Sunday show interviews.

"Even Alex Azar," the secretary of Health and Human Services, "who was in charge of the White House task force on this — the president was concerned he was being overly alarmist by warning people the disease was likely to come to the US," Hess said. "So that's part of the motivation of putting Pence in charge, to control messaging and silence medical experts."

Trump's efforts to muzzle health officials and downplay coronavirus mirror the tactics of an authoritarian regime, experts say

These health experts are in agreement with President Trump.
No. They. Are. Not.

So, yes, we should certainly listen to the President of the United States, especially over the opinion of an internet denizen, even if his moniker is Windwalker.
I am echoing the words of the health experts. I am speaking the words of the experts, not my opinion. You echo the words of a denier. You have no expert opinions behind you.

The very experts you claim agree with you and differ with the President deny your assertion. To wit,

Dr. Anthony Fauci slammed the media's ongoing attempt to "pit" him against President Trump, expressing his desire for that to stop.

Appearing on the radio show "Mornings on the Mall" on Tuesday, Dr. Fauci was asked about the growing number of stories that depict an apparent tension between him and President Trump.

"I wanted to ask you about something that I've seen transpiring over the past couple of days, especially as it relates to you. It seems like increasingly a bunch of the questions from the media are designed to create a rift between you and the president of the United States. Or at least to sort of emphasize differences of opinion in a way that creates distance between you and the president. Are you sensing that as the media continuously asks you questions about the differences you have with him?" co-host Vince Coglianese asked.

"That is really unfortunate," Dr. Fauci responded. "I would wish that would stop because we have a much bigger problem here than trying to point out differences. They're really fundamentally at the core when you look at things, they are not differences."

He continued, "The president has listened to what I've said and to the other people who are on the task force have said. When I've made recommendations, he has taken them. He has never countered, overwritten me. The idea of just pitting one against the other is not helpful. I wish that would stop and that we'd look ahead at the challenge we have to get over this thing."

That may be the case that the media is trying to create more friction, and we could discuss that in itself. But the fact remains, Trump wanting to protect the economy at the risk of millions of possible deaths over the next several months, is something I doubt you will find any of his health experts saying that idea is okay. That is going to be an obvious difference between them, right there.

Now, if he is just bloviating, saying whatever BS comes out of his brain at the moment to calm economic fears, that is one thing. He often just blathers something or another, out of thin air which has no feasible way he can do it. But it stands that even just saying that, creates the view in the minds of America that this President is NOT listening to his experts, and will do something highly dangerous to public health because of his arrogance about himself as a businessman. I know it's dangerous, and to hear our leader in this time of deep concern, saying things his experts recommend against, is deeply worrisome to all of us.

So you wonder why the media are probing into that? That's why. Americans are concerned. It deeply concerns all of us. And it should.

All of which has nothing whatsoever to do with Biden saying he was a Professor after he was a U.S. Senator.

You seem to want to change the subject. I wonder why.

Oh goodness, we just got sidetracked onto an important topic you should be aware of from others perspectives. It should concern you equally.

As far of Biden thing goes. I think I said it already. Big whoopy. Show me a dozen idiotic things Bidens says, and anyone could "trump" that with a dozen things in three days that Trump would say that is miles more idiotic than that. Who's the biggest Clown of all? Why Trump trumps all the buffoons. He's already got the orange face paint on, just missing the big red nose is all.

Happy? :)

I'm not talking about a mere stutter. The guy totally loses his train of thought mid-sentence where he just gives up or starts arguing with himself.
This goes to my point of saying this is how low we have sunk. Where the best defense of Biden will be "Well Trump can't talk either!"

Biden not being able to always articulate himself well (I heard him speak yesterday and he was fine) is...not a big deal. I am more concerned with the character of the person and the things the person fights for while in office. By that measure the choice is of Biden is clear, for me at least.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Why do people on the right always find random stories that are old and pass it off as new? The story is from 2017. Do some research on what has already happened! Sheesh!
Two or three years ago is old now?
