I miss working out at 24 Hour Fitness, running at parks/ lakes, and visiting the library.

Another thing, the French huddle where a group of a few friends cluster together, often in the middle of the road or a shop doorway, a busy thoroughfare or a market isle. Other people respect this and keep their distance while the group put the world back together, discus the latest political scandal or someone's sex life.

Basic everyday life, the french habit of cheek touching when you meet a friend, normal shopping, meals out in restaurants, hopping on a plane to see parents and friends.

My 'basic everyday life' has been no different from what it is now, so there is nothing to look forward to going back to.
The only difference would be not having to wear a mask and being able to get vet appointments sooner and being able to go inside of the vet clinic instead of waiting in the car waiting for the phone call.

Its kind of hard here, there was a great community that is dead now Hopefully it will resurrect when covid is beaten.

There is also such a lot to see, investigate, explore. It is a major tourist destination for a good reason.

You know, I never LARPed, but I have some awesome clothes, and I miss having places to wear them.

Its just not practical to sit around the house in beautiful clothes for the kids to smear with food, and the dogs to splatter with mud.
