I believe it's okay not to know. We don't know everything about the origins of the universe, about whether God, or gods, are real, and which ones, about the existence or lack thereof regarding ghosts, about the afterlife, and what determines whether one has a good one or bad one should an afterlife exist, should all people's afterlifes not be pretty much the same. And sure there is stuff to know about childbirth and all, but there is still a certain miracle to it, even mathematical miracle, that we were born and not someone else. I guess.

So... that's my belief right now.

I believe that the true political spectrum is the dichotomy between statism and anarchism. Republican, democrat, those labels are ultimately meaningless and fall under the umbrella of simply being a statist.
When someone says anarchism, they could mean many different philosophies. When I say it, I am referring to individualist anarchism / anarcho-capitalism.
Anarchism states that any state is inherently immoral and illegitimate.
So, one is either a statist, or an anarchist. Statists have many meaningless labels they give their political beliefs, but the only thing that matters on that topic is that they are a statist, imo.
I believe statism is the biggest detriment to humanity and literal psychopaths populate the majority of powerful public officials. The power that an elected position gives an individual is sure to attract psychopathic people with nefarious or selfish intentions.
I believe that statists have Stockholm syndrome in relation to their government. The government is purposefully culling them and reducing their brain capacity, yet they obligate themselves to and love their captors.
Society can function without a state, that is the theory of anarcho-capitalism. Because we are immoral sinful beings, a state is seemingly inevitable. Only by gaining collective conscious moral awareness, will we be able to exist in a stateless society.
Anarchism is heavily intertwined with my religious beliefs, and I believe an anarchist society has to precede any type of rapture event. The reason being is that anarchism would work to reverse the negative biological effects that happen due to purposeful state intervention. Without a state literally devolving us through domestication. we would physically evolve into morally enlightened beings. I believe this evolution would precede a rapture.
    :)

Concerning religion: I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of Heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God. Born of the Father before all ages. God of God, Light of Light, true God of true God. Begotten, not made: consubstantial with the Father; by Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation, came down from Heaven: and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary: and was made man. He was crucified also for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried. And on the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures. And He ascended into Heaven and sitteth at the right hand of the Father. And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead: of Whose kindgom there shall be no end. And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life: Who proceedeth from the Father and the Son. Who together with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified: Who spoke through the Prophets. And in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

I have a variety of political beliefs including: a good state is like a good father who prepares his children with virtues for God. This is the whole aim of politics to me. Some others are that usury is truly an evil thing, that plea deals are an aberration of justice, factory farming of animals should be moved away from (and the demands in the gap left behind not met at all), and that public idolatry should be against the law.

On entertainment: I believe that Rome Total War and the mods for it (like RTR and EB) are some of the greatest gaming experiences known to man, that Serial Experiments Lain is a divine-tier anime (Death Note might also be up there), that Caves of Qud is the best roguelike (perhaps followed by IVAN), that roguelikes also have a highly specific definition that if a game fails to meet it is not a roguelike (no matter what the unwashed hordes on Steam say) which is as followed:

    - Single-player.
    - Grid-based movements with characters moving whole cells of the map at a time.
    - Battles and movement on the map take place on the same map and screen.
    - Action-point based movement where actions take fragments of a turn or a whole turn and when you move the AI also makes it's move.
    - ??? something else I forgot.

But suffice to say, Binding of Isaac is not a roguelike, never has been, never will be, in no possible world is it one, and because what I said is true God Himself agrees with me that it is so (in my opinion). I will be a purist in this until I die.

MJ is innocent and did nothing wrong, I will hear no slander of the dead.

All of that's just my opinion tho'.

I believe in having no gods before the Creator of the heavens, earth, and life's creator.

Our genetic code's creator has left this mathematical pattern in our genetic code conveying to me the symbol of an Egyptian triangle as well as the number 37 embedded in our genetic code.
Eight of the canonical amino acids can be sufficiently defined by the composition of their codon's first and second base nucleotides. The nucleon sum of these amino acids' side chains is 333 (=37 * 3 squared), the sun of their block nucleons (basic core structure) is 592 (=37 * 4 squared), and the sum of their total nucleons is 925 (=37 * 5 squared ). With 37 factored out, this results in 3 squared + 4 squared = 5 squared, which is representative of an Egyptian triangle..

The mathematical pattern of the number 37 being used as a key factor for conveying an Egyptian triangle might be related to the gematria value of 37 appearing in the Hebrew language of Genesis 1:1.

You shall have no gods before the Creator of the heavens and earth, life's creator!

I believe we're in the real end times, not the vision of various religions, but the true ending of the great dark age (maha kali yuga) and the beginning of the great golden age (maha satyuga). In Hindu terms, we're in the first few milliseconds of the 51st year of Brahma's life.

I believe what we see around the world are the forces of darkness and decay fighting a last, losing battle.

I believe I'm not the only one who feels this way:

    1. I believe we are alive and have vitality via life force.

    2. I believe our actions and thoughts determine our future experiences. We influence our lives past, present, and future by the benefits or consequences of our actions and thoughts. This can be very clear connection of causality or it can be subtle and spread apart to where it appears more synchronicity than causality. We don't know.

    3. I believe in freedom and autonomy, expression, communication

4., I believe everything, nature, and all living have personal energy or (I don't know) soul.

Śiva, on the other hand, is a form that I find more kindly and overall agreeable. :blueheart:

This reminds me that there is an American Vaiṣṇava gurū who publicly stated in the past year that we are headed toward a mini Satya Yuga that will last a few thousand years. Even more interestingly, he said that we will see it in our very lifetime and that the reason those 'forces of darkness' have been so intent for the past 100 or so years is that they are about to be destroyed by an āveśa avatāra. Just recently, that same gurū has stated that 'the King' is already here. If all of this is true, I look forward to seeing it.

I believe that, too. In my understanding, this is what the Hindu (and Buddhist) doctrine of karma is actually about.

I believe in those as well. They go well with having a mind and faculty of reasoning. :)

I would contest the idea that the universe is orderly. With several trillion sources of gravity each effecting each other i believe disorder is the thing. However this disorder is on a universal scale and barely seen on the human scale.

That is not what "an orderly universe" means in the sense of philosophy of science. A universe is orderly when the laws of nature are the same everywhere and over time (and when they aren't then there is a natural explanation for the change).

As a Hindu, I see Shiva as Supreme. I believe He is a God of kindness and love, and guides us throughout our many lives to the truth. I believe that, perhaps I was Hindu in a past life, and that is why I feel so drawn to Hinduism now.

I believe that my great-grandmother watches over me. I believe she sends cardinals---little red birds---to check up on myself and the family. Whenever I see one I become very happy and filled with peace.

I believe that everyone will eventually be liberated. Even if it takes a while. No one is too far away from God, because He is everywhere.

I can agree with that, it will not inpact the force of gravity (or entropy)

I find belief useless. So I don't believe anything unless validated by evidences making it fact, or keep such a belief strictly provisional with an option open that it may not actually be true.
