What do other's think of the Meshneh Shen?

Aset's Flames

Viperine Asetian
Called the Mesneh Shen by most Asetians,

They are humans who have had one of their five Shen, often equated to the asianic chakras, damaged and begin to drain Ka, life force, from others around them until the Shen is repaired.

The Shen is typically damaged when Ka is drained so rapidly from one Shen that more Ka is being taken than produced.

This damage can lead to physical problems when they cannot absorb enough Ka and if the damage is great enough this condition can last through multiple life times.

Is there an equivalent for this beings recognized in modern relgious and/or magic systems?

Has modern technology been able to detect any unsualities with these people?

Do they have a self identity in the modern era?

Seems like vampires to me.Actually i heard somewhere that exact description about vampires , them having damaged chakras.

Perhaps a more modern equalent would be emotional vampires. They are abused and damaged so they try to do the same to other people.

Sounds like vampires.

Modern science can detect a disorder but they would have no clue on the source.

Do they have a self identity in the modern era?
In the western modern era very, very few consider these things.
