There's a little of the neanderthal in all of us. And the old overly simplistic Africans left but no one returned is clearly wrong. And, who knows, there might be new genes circulating now that will eventually be a replacement for Homo sapiens.

I thought we had about 2 to 4% Neanderthal DNA according to older studies i have read. I considered that percentage very, very low considering we share 35% of our DNA with a daffodil.

I think humanity might benefit if we started growing fur again and got back some of our climbing genes and muscles. We could each be like Ape Armstrong and wouldn't need to wear clothes, and we could live without houses. We could just climb things all day long and philosophize.

I'd be good with hairy muscular naked guys sitting up above the wimmins down below who are fixing dinners and fetching beer.

We'll call it philosophizing if it keeps the wimmins cooking.
