Peace be on you….. Allah the Exalted says in Quran Kareem:
[Surah Al Infal, ch 8 : v 25] “yaa aiyyo hallazina aaman-ustajibu lillahe wa lirrasuley ezaa da-aakum lemaa yohyeekum……”

“O ye who believe! Respond to Allah and the Messenger when He (he) calls you that He (he) may give you life……”


Allah the Exalted sends His Messengers to give life. He sends them to grant life to the death of believers. As it is clear from these words of Quran Kareem that this life means the spiritual life, not making alive, after the physical death.


Here a reality has been told that a momim / believer should always continue to reform himself by responding / saying yes to the call of Prophet.


Allah the Exalted has arranged means of our life through Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him) and perfect and complete Shariah sent in the form of Holy Quran and Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) was made as the perfect model who practiced it. The people near him (s.a.w.) always felt it. As much one was closer, the more beauty of his (s.a.w.) practical model became apparent to him. His wives were greatest possible witness to this, and they actually were. That is why when a questioner asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the morals of Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him), she replied, “kana kholoqohul Quran” i.e. his moral was Quran. She meant, what is in Quran, its practical model was he (s.a.w.).


Thus the selves of the Prophets are the models in the world. It is out of question that anyone would be stumbled by their being or their model. In this verse, by saying Allah and Messenger together, Allah the Exalted points that what Allah says, His Messengers pronounce and do the same. Thus if one needs spiritual life, one should walk behind the Messenger with closed eyes [metaphor], follow him and act upon his directives…..And about Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him), it is said that if you want to have love of God the Exalted, then it is essential to follow Holy Prophet (s.a.w.).


The love of God is the station, from where spiritual life is gained. To gain true spiritual life, it is vital to say ‘labbaika’ [I am present at your service] to the call of Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him)… Unless a person who call himself a Muslim, truly believes in what Allah the Exalted asked Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) to announce in these words, “fattabe-ooni yohbibkomullah” [(ch3,v 32) i.e. ‘thus follow me, Allah (the Exalted) will love you’], till then such a person, cannot be called a true follower and momin (believer)….The written detail of his (s.a.w.) model is present before us in the form of Quran Kareem, as Hazrat Aisha (r.a.) said.


This is Quran Kareem which tells that the animosity to a nation should not force you to do injustice……This is Quran Kareem which tells not to shed anyone’s blood for no reason…….. This is Quran Kareem which tells to pay rights of Creation……. This is Quran Kareem which tells that Holy Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be on him) is mercy for all worlds, who is mercy for everyone, regardless of religion and nation. Rahmaniyyat [from Al Rahman an attribute of Allah] demands that it should general……In short, as we continue to read Holy Quran, all kinds of guidance becomes available.


Holy Quran refutes all allegations, which people raise about Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) and Islam when they observe current Muslims’ wrong deeds…………. The people ask Muslims that they claim their Messenger gives life but, Is this the life, which your Messenger and your religion gives?....... Messengers are life-givers, but current Muslims’ deeds are dead and practically they are eager to snatch human lives…….Innocents and widows are being murdered.


Hazrat Khalifa tul Messiah (may Allah be his Helper) said that often people ask him and Ahmadiyya Muslims about above matter. He (a.t.) tells them Allah the Exalted and His Messenger has already answered their allegation in the beginning of Islam, more than 1400 years ago in Quran Kareem, in the verses of Surah Al Jumua:

[ch62:v3] ‘He it is Who has raised among the Unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves who recites unto them His verses, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom, although they had been, before, in manifest misguidance;

[ch62:v4]’And among others from among them, who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise.’


Thus the current ignorance and misguided-ness which is being manifested by the actions of Muslims is the same which was manifested in the times of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him)….To remove it, and to give real life-giving message, Allah the Exalted sent Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) and now Allah the Exalted has sent Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) to spread this life-giving message. And after coming into the Bai'at of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace), it is responsibility of Jama'at Ahmadiyya to convey this message and it is doing so.


The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) has also foretold about these circumstance, people and about the current misdeeds of so-called Clergies that they would be the worst of Creature under the sky, they would be starting and returning place of mischief and discord and at that time, Allah the Exalted would manifest Promised Messiah who would give life. [Ref: Bukhari, Mishkaat, Ibne Majah]


So we see that Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) claimed that he has come to grant life and his believers acquired this life.


Therefore, the allegation --- “Does this (the Holy) Prophet give life?” --- drops, because he (s.a.w.) and Allah had already foretold that these circumstances would take place. This Message is life-giver and will remain so; this Prophet (s.a.w.) is life-giver and will remain so always till Hereafter. But those who would practice it and follow it would not be there…….In such circumstances, Again Allah the Exalted would send Promised Messiah (a.s.) -- the perfect obedient and follower of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) [and he has come.]


Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) says:
“ ‘wa akhareena minhum lamma yalhaqu behim……..’ [62:4] (’And among others from among them, who have not yet joined them.) – This verse means that: After the perfect misguidance, there are only two parties who will attain guidance and wisdom and witness the blessings and miracles of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).


Firstly, the Companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) who were embroiled in extreme darkness before his advent and later, with the grace of God the Exalted, they experienced the time of the Prophet and witnessed miracles with their own eyes and observed (the fulfilment of) prophecies. And the belief brought about such a change in them as if they remained as a soul.


The other party which, according to aforementioned verse, are like the Companions is the party of the Promised Messiah because this party also is to witness the miracles of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) just like Companions and is to find guidance after darkness and misguidance.



An in verse ‘….. akhareena minhum……..’ this party has been given a measure of blessing of ‘minhum’ i.e. they are given the measure of blessing of similarity with Companions, this points to the fact that as the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) witnessed the miracles of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and observed the prophecies, likewise they will observe too. And the intermidiate era will not take full measure of this perfect blessing.



Thus, exactly this is what happened nowadays and after thirteen hundred years, once again the door to the miracles of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) reopened and people witnessed them with their own eyes.”


He also said:
“Everyone has personally witnessed the spread of the plague and restrictions placed on going to Hajj. Introduction of the railways in the country and the camels made redundant, all these were the miracles of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) which have been witnessed in this era just as the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) witnessed miracles.

This is why Allah the Exalted termed this latter-days party as ‘…minhum…..(from among them) so that it may indicate that they are like the Companions as far as observance of miracles is concerned. Think about it! Who else has experienced a time in the precept of Prophethood in the last thirteen hundred years!

In this era, in which our Jama'at is raised, there are many reasons for our Jama'at to be likened to the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). They witness miracles and signs just as the Companions did, they get light and certainty by signs and fresh supports by God the Exalted just as the Companions did.

They are suffering from the grief of derision, mockery, cursing and all manner of hurt, abuse and cutting off of ties in the way of God as the Companions did.

They continue to attain pure life from God’s evident signs, heavenly succour and teaching of wisdom, just as the Companions did.

Many among them weep during Salat and moisten their places of prostration with tears, just as the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) wept.” [Commentary by Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.)]

Thus this promise of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) that he had come to give life to the world was fulfilled with great magnificence and continues to be fulfilled; Allah the Exalted is granting life to the world through him (a.s.) also, as he (a.s.) is in obedience and following the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.).


Now the understanding of Word of God the Exalted is possible only through him (a.s.) and without this it is impossible. To tell the knowledge and truths of Quran Kareem – this status is his. The people are getting spiritual life through him now; and can get it. After 1400 years, he has presented perfect practical model, by perfectly following and getting (spiritually) lost in love of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.). Thus this beneficence of granting practical and moral life continues till today. But those who raise allegations against Islam do not look at it, they only see wrong deeds of Muslim and make exaggerated propaganda and objections.


Few days ago, someone wrote Huzur (a.t.) that there was a discussion with a learned Christian who was told about the established Ahmadiyya Muslim system of Khilafat and services of Jama'at in the world, he said then why these things are not told to media for world awareness, why newspaper do not write about it. He was told that we inform them about our Tabligh (conveying message), distribution of millions of leaflets, advertisements in buses, other ways of advertisement, various programs, we try to give news but media does not give it proper coverage as much media covers the negative news……The Christian friend commented that in the time of commercialization, media seeks sensational news to attract people. They give news according to trends. Current trend is against Muslims thus they are eager to give anti Muslims news. Media is not doing justice and avoid to present facts.


Huzur (a.t.) said: Anyway, this is their approach. However there are some in media, who has started to write or speak in favour.


Few days ago, BBC Radio [BBC Asia, BBC World] interviewed Huzur (a.t.) and has broadcasted some of its part. They have presented the section, where Huzur (a.t.) said that the teaching given by Jama'at is the real teaching of Islam and because of this reason, hundreds of thousands people join the Jama'at each year. When they hear Islam’s life-giving message they are drawn to it.


Thus there is no deficiency in the teaching of Islam and in the model of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him); they are perfect………….The deficiency exists in the those Ulema [Clergies] and people who wrongly guide and who wrongly follow.


If it was not so that Prophets give life, as claimed by all Prophets, people’s confidence in the Being of God the Exalted would be removed…………….Those dead religions who only claim and now there is no life-giving quality is left in them, people are leaving them; people have only a ceremonial connection with them but the state of faith now does not exist.


It is the great benevolence of Allah the Exalted upon Muslims that, in this era too, He refreshed His teaching for us by send His Messenger so that we continue to have spiritual life.


Allah the Exalted’s Appointees come with a Promise from Him that, the nation who will join and truly follow them, they will take them to victory, they will granted the spiritual life, other people will be unsuccessful and lowered.
The same Promise of Allah the Exalted is with Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) that he will get domination, and his followers will continue to progress Insha-Allah [Allah willingly]. The system of Khilafat, after him, will continue to carry on his work. If any other system will rise against it, that will remain unsuccessful and aimless.


Khilafat is that bounty which is bestowed by Allah the Exalted; it is not achieved by grabbing; it is not achieved by doing oppression; it is not achieved by burying live innocents; this system is not seized by brutal killings……..Khilafat is a way and means to give lives, not to snatch lives, which is not possible without the help and support of God the Exalted…………Thus any other system which is taken by snatching cannot have support of God the Exalted and never has had.


Here, a matter has to be remembered that those who believers of Appointee-by-God the Exalted, who gain life and who give lives have to give sacrifices. Those who are with the Appointee get ready to sacrifice of any kind because they know that their sacrifices will be not wasted. They understand the importance of sacrifices, that is why, sometime they sacrifice their apparent life for spiritual life…….There were such people in the time of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) who gave up / sacrificed their families, relatives, wealth, business even their lives. Often sacrifice is of emotions, relatives and wealth but there are those who sacrifice their lives. There were people who sacrificed all this but did not let their spiritual life die……Today, too, there are hundreds and thousands are such who blissfully present sacrifices of emotions, wealth, relations and sacrifices of lives at some places………There are some, when they accept Ahmadiyya Islam [Islam’s true life-giving message] at the same time, the period of adversities and difficulties starts for them but they do not care about it. They prefer spiritual life over apparent life, as Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) said that they go through various troubles but do not pay heed, they are oppressed very much…….Now there are countless examples of people in the history of Jama'at who passed through such adversities.


Here are some of such examples, except sacrifices of lives……These people, when, accepted Ahmadiyya Islam, they presented sacrifices of emotions, they faced adversities and difficulties from society; society started to pressurize them:

A person, Hussam-ud-Ddin sahib, an Arab, he left a message for our Ikramah sahib that he entered into Bai'at sometimes ago, and now situations is very difficult. He was consoled and circumstances and reasons of difficulties were asked. He told that he and his wife belonged to the Tablighi Party and used to go on tours. After watching MTA he believed in the message of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) finding it truthful and life-giving. His wife became vehemently opposed to him and turned his family as well as the Maulawis against him. On the say-so of the Maulawis she got a fatwa of disbelief passed against him from Al Azhar and they were separated with their Nikah annulled (as per usual ploy of mullahs). After that, his family put a lot of pressure on him to leave the Jama’at but he did not take any notice of anyone. He has four children with this wife, and after leaving everything, he is firm on his faith with the grace of Allah the Exalted. He says that he realised the reality of exclusion after Bai'at and understood the saying of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) that Islam began in a state of exclusion and will ultimately be excluded again. Thus blessed are the excluded. He says Allah the Exalted Exalted has given him refuge and has taken care of him. May Allah the Exalted enable him not to ever slip; he is not slip-able and he will remain steadfast InshaAllah.


Similary……..In Shanga region of Tanzania, East Africa, Amir sahib writes, that Tabligh was done, many Bai’ats were received from several places. Among them there is a village, it has mosque of non-Ahmadiyya Muslims. About 90% of people who worshipped in this mosque joined Ahmadiyya Jama'at…….. Bakwata, a Tanzanian Muslim organisation which is considered as representative of Islam started severe opposition of the new Ahmadiyya Muslims. Firstly they harassed and threatened them. Our mu’allim (tutor/teacher) was immediately sent for training, so the faith of the new comers became strong as they learned the real teaching of Islam. They did not pay attention to harassments. Eventually the opponents stopped Ahmadiyya Muslim from offering Salat in that mosque. Ahmadis organised an alternate place to offer Salat and they decided to make a mosque…..…A new turn came, the district government and police officer, a Sunni Muslim, and Bakwata organization started harassing the new Ahmadis of village. They imprisoned the mu’allim and another person and then released them later. Again, after few days, they arrested mu’allim along with a three or four Ahmadi; they wanted to file a case; they made various allegations against Ahmadis [e.g. Ahmadis have come to burn our mosque that is why they are making their own mosque, Ahmadis are creating non-unity, they are destroying our peace ------ Whatever they do by themselves, all of it they blamed Ahmadis for.] ………. With Allah the Exalted’s grace all new Ahmadiyya Muslims stayed firm at faith and they did not pay any attention to all this; they passed through serious troubles.

Now the third example: Previous example was from East Africa. This one is from West Africa in Burkina Faso, a French speaking area. At a place Ganzargo, five hundred Bai’ats were received last year including that of the village chief and the Imam. Their close relatives who lived in nearby village / area started opposing them and organised social boycott of the new Ahmadis; greeting, meeting, business, all kind of contacts were stopped……... The Ahmadis used to offer Salat in a small place in town / village but they were stopped from doing so and the opposition continued to rise. In spite of that, with the grace of Allah the Exalted, these new Ahmadiyya Muslim who hail from far flung areas, and are apparently known as illiterate, they did not take any notice of the opposition and safeguarded their faith, and now Allah the Exalted has eased their situation.


Thus, through such oppositions, everyone has to pass, as Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has said…………There have been many examples in previous faithful……..These fresh examples are narrated to illustrate how fast Allah the Exalted fills and is filling, the faith in hearts, by His grace; afterwards these people become ready to present each sacrifice.


These people live in various countries of the world, they are making means for their spiritual lives by understanding Ahmadiyyat --- the true Islam.


This deed cannot be done without the help of Allah the Exalted……….. Neither, the Commissioned-by-Allah [maamoor] can do it by himself (Allah’s help is always with His Appointees only then these feats are achieved), nor our mublagheen [clergy-scholars] and connected system can do it, unless they have supports of Allah the Exalted……..These supports prepare faithful to offer sacrifice and steadfastness. Huzur (a.t.) meets many Pakistanis in various countries, who have joined Ahmadiyya Islam. Whenever Huzur (a.t.) told them that they will face certain hardships, they will have troubles when they will go back, some do go. They replied that they have joined with understanding and they would remain steadfast. InshaAllah.


To achieve a purpose, to do hard work and to offer sacrifice is a worldly principle also. To achieve high aims, great sacrifices are to be offered. Thus to get everlasting spiritual life, sacrifices move alongside. But Allah the Exalted sometimes grants so much, which makes one astonished, to those who are always ready to offer each sacrifice, without they actually do sacrifice.


If a human sometimes try to demonstrate simple example of Allah the Exalted’s attributes, according to his capacity, and grants to other human --- then---- God the Exalted, Who is great Giver, Who give fruits to intentions, there is no limit of His grants.


“ Huzoor related a worldly tale/parable of human sacrifice and reward.
A Persian king with his wazir (official/minister) passed an old farmer who was planting fruit tree and due to his age it was clear that its fruit would not benefit him. The king asked him, ‘will this tree benefit you?’ The farmer replied, ‘they planted before us and we ate. Therefore we plant so others can eat.’ The king was impressed and signalled to his wazir to give a bag of gold coins to the farmer as a reward. The farmer said, ‘the tree has given fruit even while it is being planted.’ This impressed the king again and he signalled his wazir to give another bag of gold coins to the farmer. Upon this the farmer said, ‘a tree is ready to bear fruit after many years and does so once a year, but my tree has given fruit twice while still being planted.’ Impressed yet again, the king signalled the wazir to give the farmer yet another bag of gold coins and added, ‘let us leave or this farmer may take all our coins!’ While worldly kings confer on others, they are also afraid of their treasures diminishing. However, our God continues to confer and after granting spiritual life grants eternal life. And for this sacrifices like the sacrifice of the old farmer planting fruit tree are needed; sacrifices the fruits and benefits of which are not instant and apparent but have great hidden benefits.”


Followers of Prophets present sacrifices under this principle and they and their Jama'at become successful in the world and others are disgraced by God the Exalted…...What oppression were not done to disciples of Hazrat Esa [Jesus, on whom be peace]. They were seriously persecuted for nearly three centuries but they continued to bear them with patience and continued to offer sacrifice till, in the third century, when the Roman King accepted Christianity, they found freedom……..During this period of difficulties, they lived hiding in caves.


As the Christians saved their faith by hiding in mountain caves, to save their spiritual life, they went behind rocks, because they were sure that they would be free one day – Similarly --- Today, the servants of Messiah of Muhammad are more certain that victory will be theirs, InshaAllah the Exalted.


Thus we shall have to safeguard our faith in the time of difficulties, we shall have to continuously draw blessing of life of water, given to us by Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) to drink……Christians safeguarded their faith by hiding behind rocks and offered sacrifices, we have to make and prove our faith rock-solid so that that bounty and blessing may always remain continuous……..Weakness in faith existed earlier and many still have, but we have to prove that Appointee’s work is to produce new life and to strengthen faith, and we have to develop it in us in any circumstances, InshaAllah the Exalted. Such state will be manifested when we have firm faith that victory is the fate of Jama'at of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). And everyone as member of Jama'at should understand that he has to play his part in this victory, salvation of the world will be through him, and he has to play his role for this, despite all difficulties, he has to make means for his life and life of the world because there is no other way except it which may give life to the world.


Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has mentioned about his victories and dominance at many places. At a place, he writes:
“O All People! Listen that it is His prophecy, Who made earth and heavens, He will spread His this Jama'at in all countries [it is spreading by the grace of Allah the Exalted ] and by way of argument and proof, will give dominance to them over everyone. Those days are coming, nay they are near, that, in the world, there will be this religion only which will be remembered with honour. God will place top class and extraordinary blessing in this religion and in this movement, and will keep everyone disappointed who is anxious to destroy it. And this dominance will be forever till Qaiyamat [Hereafter] will come.


If they jeer at me now, then what is harm with this jeering, for there has not been a Prophet who has not been jeered at. It was, therefore, incumbent that the Promised Messiah be also jeered at, as Allah the Exalted says:

[ch36:v31] ‘Alas for mankind! There comes not a Messenger to them but they mock at him.’


Thus, from God, it is a Sign that every Prophet has been mocked at. But, such a person, who will descend from sky in front of all people [as it is considered about Hazrat Esa a.s.] and angels accompany him too, who will mock at him? Thus a wise can understand from this argument too that Promised Messiah’s coming down from sky is only a false thought.


Remember! No one will come down from sky; all our opponents who are alive now, they all shall pass away and none of them shall see Esa (a.s.) bin Maryam [Jesus] coming down from sky. Then their progeny, which will be left, will die too, and no person among them too will see Esa (a.s.) bin Maryam coming down from sky. And then progeny of progeny will die and they too will not see son of Maryam coming down from sky. Then God will put anxiety in their hearts that era of dominance of cross has passed too and the world has come into another colour but son of Maryam Esa (a.s.) has not come down from sky yet. Then the wise suddenly will become displeased with this creed. And still third century from day of today will not have passed that those who wait for Esa, whether the be Muslims or Christians, will desert this false creed by becoming extremely hopeless and suspicious. And there will be only one religion in the world and only one (Spiritual) Leader. I came to sow the seed thus that seed has been sown by my hand and now it will grow and flourish and there is none who can stop it.” [The Narrative of Two Martyrdom, ALISLAM.ORG]


Huzur (a.s.) said that he read in his mail that our young men were distributing leaflets at a place in a European country that Jesus, the Messiah has come……There were two people sitting outside their home, they said they were just discussing the topic that if Jesus was to come from sky then why he has not descended yet? If he has not to come from sky and has to come from earth, then when and who will come? While we were discussing it, you have brought this leaflet that Jesus – The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) has come….. You have a program at Exhibition, we have received this invitation and we shall definitely come. …………… So like this, Allah the Exalted is opening new ways. He Himself is infusing in the hearts of people that they should ponder at this matter.


May Allah enable us to remain part of this flourishing and flowering tree always, and may our faith be firm like solid rock and may we continue to pay our responsibilities at all times. [Aameen] .
