It seems some don't really care if millions of people die and uncounted others suffer from extended disability
Nobody is talking about not caring. We are talking about what precautions are reasonable.
That's like saying I don't care about the hundreds of people who die every year by hitting thier head in the tub because I'm not an anti tub activist.

Well, it's official....this thread is dead.
As it turns out bathing is quite dangerous.

"Slips and falls in bathtubs and showers were found to be the most frequent type of accident. Burns from scalding water were less common, but generally much more serious, resulting in over 70 deaths each year. In addition, over 100 people drown every year in bathtubs.
