We pass each other without touching
In the crowds that press against us,
they are unique universes filled with joy and pain,
we pass each other without touching,
looking down,
or to the left or right,
perhaps giving a slight smile
and a how do you do (?),
but eye contact for a second only.
From our eyes unknown
to us, it is Christ Jesus
who looks out on the world
asking us to allow his incarnation
to continue in us-Br.MD
