Maybe this can reassure you.:)

Or, one could see oneself as being a part of the human race and not being divided up because of all the things she quoted, and as to which will continue to divide us unless we do jettison them. She is just playing on the more popular issues to keep in power - as for so many of the populist leaders who have no real solutions to most of these. Will she be defending God when Italy goes the same way as the rest of Europe - as to leaving God behind? Probably not.

I find her dubious.
To me she comes across as an actress who knows how to play people like a fiddle, rather than a well-meaning politician.
She has an air of excessive pride about her and a wild look in her eyes.
In that video from the other thread of the same OP, where she lashed out at her critics, I also got the impression she was twisting people's words to make them look bad and make herself look virtuous.
This shows to me that she has a deceitful and petty side.

I guess we'll see what happens...

The ones who want to destroy European Civilization dislike her because of the thing she says.:)

She was raised within a working class district, of the suburbs of Southern Rome.
She has struggled. Nothing was given to her for free.
She is light years away from the élites.
She has the thirst for justice in her eyes.
She is fiercely angry with all those who want to destroy my and her Fatherland.
She is real. Tremendously real.
Spread the word. ;)

I don't get why so many dislike her, she's a typical conservative.

So many dislike her because her policies scapegoat specific groups, trace back to Mussolini, and inherently include discrimination against certain minorities.

Nowadays, what many label "typical conservatism" seems to have become a shorthand or euphemism for harmful, outdated laws and policies that enable or cause suffering of others. If this is what "typical conservatism" has become, it is no wonder that younger generations are increasingly side-eyeing and condemning it.

I can't help but notice that everything you say about her is non-specific and euphemistic.

Can you outline some of her policies and why you like them?

It specifically deals with political economics.
Meaning that this European Union practically favors the big corporations (we have seen the evidence within the last month), the big banks, the big international businesses...while doing anything to undermine, persecute, ignore the small businesses. Small entrepreneurship. The only ones deserving state protection and state aid.
It's a horrific model of society that they are promoting. And it something that makes them lose the elections.

Once JP Morgan said our constitution is too socialistic, and we need to change it, to turn it into a pro-banks charter, probably.

With respect, you've not answered my question. I'll be more specific:

Can you outline some of Meloni's policies that you agree with, and why you agree with them?

Fascism definitively died 77 years ago.
It's like someone said that Leonardo Da Vinci can rise from the dead.
History is history. Past.

Fascism is a political ideology. Only you think it somehow has "died." To try to compare an ideology to a human is ridiculous. Strange how Wiki doesn't say it died 77 years ago, but does, unsurprisingly, consider fascism in current times.

To begin with, I am a socialist. Meloni is a Conservative Prime Minister.
We are both Souverainists.

Her policies will focus on implementing all the laws and constitution articles protecting the country's sovereignty.
From an economic point of view, an intelligent protectionism (Marine Le Pen always speaks of).
From a cultural point of view, the defense of our juridical values, of our secular juridical tradition, of the European culture in general.

Well congratulations on having a female head of state, but I truly feel sorry for the well-being of poor and minorities if far right leaders in Italy are anything like the nutjobs that occupy the political far right in Australia.

In my opinion.

I feel for you, but our far right say, "Hold my beer."

You still have not answered my question, and it is becoming suspicious. Here it is again, with emphasis:

It depends on what one means by fascist.
If one means being Nationalistic, believing in Christian Europe, in European Souverainism, etc...
then, yes, she is. Very.:)

If you mean dictatorial...she was elected by the majority. So she is not dictatorial.

But what about non Christian Europe? Why do we have to favor any religion? Why not let people be what they want and support that?

Wanting to reduce immigration? FASCISM.
Wanting to focus on the nuclear family and raise falling birth rates? FASCISM.
Wanting to talk about God? FASCISM.
Wanting to take pride in one's own culture? FASCISM.

Fascism everywhere!!!!

What kind of immigration will be reduced?
Our planet already has too many starving people in it. Why bring more?
Religion is a personal and individual thing.
You didn't choose your culture. Nobody did. Always try to make it better though.

Some of which are frightening too - her form of justice, her belief in some particular nationality - where have we seen these before?

A policy is a stance, right? Policies become tangible whenever a Parliament makes laws.
The Prime Minister has the executive power. It is the Parliament that passes laws.
