Mankind functions and experiences human consciousness on three levels or perspectives.

1. Physical material

2. Emotional

3. Mental

He functions and is conscious on a physical level because he exists physicaly as a human animal-like creature. When he eats, drinks, moves about, talks or breaths he is functioning in the physical and biological dimesion.

Human beings also function and are consious on an emotional level when they feel emotions that are happy or say, angry or contented, excited or bored.

But Mankind's most superior function is acted out in his mental realm. This third level of consciusness lies entirely within his brain and mind. Although completly invisable and undetectable to others, thoughts and complex ideas are devised and considered in each persons mind. Utilizing a vocabulary of words and an effective grammar system mankind has availed himself to a memory quite like a computer. Thoughts are reasoned out with the convenience of words.

Although at first it may appear to be no restrictions on thought, there is. Thoughts and ideas are well defined and limited just as everything is in the physical, emotions and mental dimensions. Reasoning, logic and understanding are all entirely controlled by difined mental principles similar to those of mathematics. Just as in mathamatics a equation or a calculation is found to be either true or false, so to it is with logic and reasoning. An idea is either logical and reasonable or it is false, contains an error and is nonsense. Understanding, ideas and everything in the mental dimesion of thought is therefore difined and restricted and entirely contained in a closed and finite circuit. Now this is a problem for the human spirit!
