110 The LORD(Jehovah) said unto my Lord(Adon), Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

    Luke 22:69
Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

    adon and adonai

    Revelation 3:21
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

so is Jesus Jehovah? or is Jesus the Lord(adon) of Jehovah, or priest of the most high(`el).

    Deut 10:17
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

The author of Luke interpolated the Septuagint translation of 110, thus unaware that the Hebrew words are different.

    ( Identical)

Adon (אָדוֹן) - Lord, Master, King, Husband .

    1 Kings 1:11 - David, my Lord ( Adon)
    1 Kings 1:13 - my Lord ( Adon) , the King ( David)
Daniel 1:10 - Trince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my Lord (Adon) the king ( Nebuchadnezzer)
Gen 24:9 - The servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master (Adon)
Psalm 110 - The Lord said onto my Master ( David)

Why would Jesus be quoting the 'Septuagint' to a Hebrew audience , if he was quoting the Hebrew text to the Hebrew audience, they will be well aware of the different words.

This is a major hole in the New Testament.

Jesus is the 2nd person of the trinity. Those familiar with the NT know that the NT teaches this, for the most part.

I'm not interested in people arguing over translations. Jesus knew what He was saying and He knew how to communicate it directly. So arguments over translation are meaningless to me.

The 'Hebrew' audience in Judea would have no idea what Jesus was saying, cos he was quoting the Septuagint, which is 'Greek' to a supposedly 'Hebrew' audience, How about you go into a Synagogue and read a Greek passage of the Septuagint to Hebrews , that would be blasphemous and an insult, it is nonsensical.

I believe that the individual known as Jesus Christ in the New Testament is the same individual known as Jehovah in the Old Testament. I'm not going to argue the point; that's just what I believe.

I did neither. I merely responded to your question without further discussion or comment.
