Is Trump's war on news media a war on free press and the constitution?

Press is printed material. There is no limit to it. But the airwaves are limited. So if one person or group of people have gained control of all the airwaves the monopoly needs to be broken up.

The linked article paints a fearful emotional picture, but
I didn't see any mention of actual governmental policies.

We've always been subjected to various administrations'
"alternative facts"....
- No bombing in Cambodia.
- Not having sex with that woman.
- I didn't build my business....someone did it for me.
- Etc, etc, etc.....
I expect more of the same from the new administration.
Our free press survived other presidents, & it'll survive Trump.

Someone is going to have to explain how telling lies is "war on media" cause I can not figure out how when Trump or one of his people do it is any different than when anyone else does it.

Trump himself spoke about his "running war with the media" on Saturday.

Spicer, Conway and other Trump aides are "planting a flag, saying they're not going to tolerate this," a longtime Trump aide told CNN on condition of anonymity.

This pretty thin stuff.
Any legislation pending or even proposed?

he's sworn to uphold the constitution and do his job. He's declared war on the american people by maligning the truth and not some foreign entity. Without information we're just mushrooms and being fed BS.

Traditionally, presidents & governments lie about big things. That's kinda expected. Trump is lying about the most inconsequential, meaninglessly petty bull**** because it makes his dick feel bigger. It's not so much bad as it is shameful & embarrassing.

yes, the constitution calls for free press without interference. trump needs to focus on what he can do for the people of the USA and not worry about his cult of personality.

Have you personally inspected his genitalia?
What exactly did Trump say which was intentional misrepresentation anyway?
