They really are on a whole different level then the rest of the competition. Maybe Japan will give them a challenge in four years after they get more experience. Or maybe one of the European teams will kick it up a notch. In any event, well done USA.

Congratulations to the woman of USA winning.

I do think there is some misplacement dialog regarding objecting to the equal pay for women on sports events. There is a supply and demand issue where more people watch men sports than women. Events with more viewer pay more.

The US women have drawn more revenue than the US men during the past two years. BUT, the pay comes from the purses of the major tournaments and the women’s tournaments just aren’t as popular as the men.

    In some cases yes

The U.S. women’s soccer team’s games have generated more revenue than the men’s team over the past three years, according to a review by the Wall Street Journal.

I know. That’s basically what I said. What that fact doesn’t take into account is that tournament purses are very different because viewership is very different.

    .

Now all the team has to do is turn down Trump's invite to meet in his throne room.

But in any case; that a way to go team USA.

And that's the point. The case that payment for spectator sports is discriminatory isn't clear.
In this case probably better to work on showing numbers and negotiating than protesting and doing creative advertising.

It's a type of category confusion. Hourly or salaried 9 to 5 verses spectator performance.

Representatives need to get access to financial records. Without that people can still fail in negotiations or be conned. Also the records will clear up difference between sustainable revenue and "shot in the arm" revenue.
