how would you feel; if someone practiced their beliefs on you because they felt that they knew what was best for you and hadn't asked for their unsolicited attention?

    I'd need a specific example.

If someone of another religion says they'll pray for me, that's fine. I appreciate the effort. If someone was trying to baptize me spontaneously and without permission(just for example), I'd return the favor, only I'd use my toilet.

I love forced baptisms. Something about gasping for air and struggling to stay alive really inspires people to take a moment and rethink their life.

I try to be understanding. Usually the people who do this genuinely believe that they're doing the right thing, even if I think it's harmful.

I would also try to be firm in asserting my boundaries, but from a place of compassion. Sometimes this comes across more blunt and hostile than I mean it to and I'm still working on that.

If they're particularly hostile and I can't de-escalate the situation or escape, then I'll try to defend myself without attacking them as best I can. The line between defending myself and offending my attacker often seems blurrier in the moment, but this is also something I'm trying to get better at.

Above all, approaching the situation with peace in mind is the highest priority.
