Unnamed Complaints - Importance of Identity – Decide with Justice and Basis of Faith

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
Some people launch un-named complaints about others. It is very important to check the character of a complainant. Complaints should be accompanied with identification and proofs. If members see, there is any real breach taking place in the system of Jama'at, then they should come forward with courage, and launch complaint, then face everything. Decision makers should check all aspects of justice. They should follow the basis of Faith...... Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (a.t.) explained the subject.

================================================

Peace and mercy of Allah be on you……Some people make complaint about the office-holders or non office-holders that they have such and such indecency or committed an offense or did something anti-Shariah. And quick action should be taken against them because they are bringing bad name to Jama'at. But many such complainers do not mention their names, or write fake name and address. Obviously, no action is or can be taken on such complaints.

When some time is elapsed, complaint comes again that no action has been taken on my prior complaint letter. If no action is commenced it will lead to a lot of loss.

As compared to people of other places in the world, the nameless complainants are more among some people [from two big countries in south Asia].

==

It is not new, such nameless-complainants were present in every period; in the times of Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (2nd Ahmadiyya Khalifah r.a.), in the third and fourth Khilafat too.

==

Once Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) delivered a sermon regarding such a complaint.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be his Helper) said: Because it is very concise and clear to silence such [complainant] people, he is using that sermon to say something.

==

Complainants who do not write their names or write fake names, firstly either they have hypocrisy or they are liars.

If they have courage and trueness then they do not worry about anything.

Pledge, they make that they will always be ready to sacrifice their life, wealth, time and honour. Here when matter, according to them, comes about honour and dignity of Jama'at, they begin to hide their name so that their respect is not harmed.

Thus, who has shown weakness at the beginning, it is utmost possible that the rest of their words too are wrong.

In Holy Quran, Allah the Exalted says if a news come to you, make investigation.

Every wise person knows that for any investigation, after hearing the words of a sayer or a deliverer, immediate investigation of the matter can not be started and is not done. But it is seen how is the conveyor himself, investigations start from him, whether he is clean of all vices, involved in any evil, weak in Eman / believe, it should not be so he himself is weak in Eman but blame others.

Usually, it is seen, those who put horrible blame on others (office holder or not) when they see their personal interests are about to be affected.

Thus before investigation, it is to be seen whether the complainant is a Momin or a Fasiq. The category of an unknown complainant will also remain unknown.

True that if a writer writes about such a matter which can harm interests of Jama'at, then investigation is conducted by self.

So, if it is known that who is complainant, firstly investigation will be done about his own character. Likewise, an investigation will be done about his claims to know the truth or false of his words.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that teaching of Hole Quran is that “……in ja-akum fasequn benabaim fatabiyanu…….” [ch49:from v7] --- If a Fasiq comes to you and tells a bad thing about someone then investigate about him, afterwards undertake any action.

On things is that complainants become sinful by not writing their names. Additionally they say, their words should be accepted as they have written and punishments should be announced immediately for whom complaint is written against.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) says that 'Fasiq' does not only mean wicked, but according to dictionary Fasiq is also the one who is of hot temper, fights at every things. Fisq also means the one who disobeys, who does not cooperate, who presents small errors of people in exaggeration and says the other should be given extreme punishment in accordance with what he stated – no chance of forgiveness.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) said about old times member who was very sincere but he had a weakness in his disposition to put forward extreme verdict on others’ very minor acts. For example, if one does not keep fingers of foot straight (vertical) while sitting for Tashshahud during Salaat, according to him, then, one reaches to limit of disbelief…..Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) said he was unable to keep fingers of his foot straight during Tashshahud because of Gout. If that man would have been alive, he would have probably passed verdict of disbelief against him (r.a.) too on the ground of non practice of Sunnah; which lead to non belief in Holy Quran and in turn it means no belief in Allah the Exalted……Thus that man would have declared him (r.a. ) an infidel….. [Nauzobillah….just a theoretical argument]

So Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) mentioned this example of such hasty people even though they were sincere.

==

But the one who hides his name [while complaining] and himself is weak in Eman and give and pass verdicts against others, found to be Fasiq according to all meanings mentioned of word Fasiq.

Thus, it should be evident on all such complainers who do not write their name, that their action is against the Quranic directive because Holy Quran firstly asks to investigate the character of the person complaining.

If actions are undertaken, without investigation, which he demands, then Jama'at will begin to have decline instead progress. It will mean there will be no investigation by Khalifah of time and system of Jama'at, and action will begin according to whatever anyone will say.

It will not lead to progress, everyone will rise and say, decide according to his desire.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) says that even if we know that the person complaining against someone is very cautious, righteous and sincere, despite knowing this it is essential to investigate about his character.

This is because no one can say that since he is saying so thus it should be taken as that and decision should be made according to it.

Once Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) disliked when a very close companion corrected his (s.a.w.) recitation of Quran during Salaat. Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) inferred this dislike of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) can mean that companion should focus on the assigned great duties and leave these small matters for others. It can also mean that it is the duty of the people who used to learn Holy Quran from Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) to correct him, leave it to them.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a) says about the nameless complainant that it is possible that complainant may be an elevated person, the I would tell him to leave these matters for someone else, and keep focused on your original work. The writer did not mention his name, thus his grade and status cannot be known, he cannot be taught. The second thing is he complained against such and such [high officials] have this and that defect. On one hand he is complaining they acts against teaching of Holy Quran and Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) [which is indeed very big defect]. On the other hand he goes against that teaching by breaking the conditions of making complaint and providing proofs.

==

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (a.t.) mentioned many people violate those conditions in complaints. The real thing is to follow the commandments of Holy Quran and the Sunnah and Holy Quran teaches when an issue is talked openly, proofs should be provided investigation should be done. When there is no name, how investigation can be done and it is very against directive of Holy Quran. Thus the complainer breaks the directive of Holy Quran.

It should always be remembered, a true virtue is to practice the commandments of Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) regardless something is not liked according to personal or societal taste. But if it is correct according to teaching of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) then it is correct, there is no defect in it.

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
Some people show harshness in some matters under the influence of their disposition and traditions of society. But their opinions even though are based on religion have no standing. To explain this, Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned once Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) was taking walk at the railway station along with his spouse (may Allah be pleased with her). At that time veiling by woman was practiced very strictly. Women of riches would reach to train compartment via curtained carts. Once ladies would sit in train, windows were closed. This level of ‘Pardah’ was indeed very agonizing and against the teaching of Islam. Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) practiced true teaching of Islam, thus his wife (r.a. : mother of faithful) would cover herself with veil and go out, and so was on that day. A companion Maulvi Abdul Karim sahib (r.a.) was there, he was of sharp personality... He went to [latter would be] Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah I (r.a.) and told him about it and said it would be printed in media but he replied it was not un-Islamic. If you think it is wrong, go ask Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) by yourself… Maulvi sahib went, asked, came with head down, and reported that Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) said what will people say? They will just say Mirza Sahib was walking along his wife.

Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) used to walk along with his wives. Once he (s.a.w.) and Hazrat Ayesha (r.a.) made race in the presence of other people. First time Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) lagged behind and Hazrat Ayesha (r.a.) won. The second time they both had a race, Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) won. At this he (s.a.w.) said 'Ayesha tilka be tilka’ – This loss is for that loss.

Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) did not consider it to be an ill act to walk with his wives and permission of the act is given by Islam cannot be called fault.

Thus if a person criticizes someone else then it means that for him the other person does not follow the true teachings of Islam.

==

Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) further tells about the complainant that he has written that the person under the subject is of low status, and then he made family based and personal objections….The complainant wrote some other person is mean and you have given him certain rank….The complainant made some allegations, about which, very clear eye witnesses are called by Shariah otherwise he would not be at truth in filing complaint otherwise not.

Some people allege others for relationship between a girl and a boy, but if they are doing so, it is required of them to have four eye witnesses.

Hazrat Musleh Mo'ud (r.a.) said, strange is that respect for Deen is developed in such a person who himself is practicing teaching of Holy Quran. And makes such allegation about others which are prohibited by Holy Quran; not only prohibited but eighty lashes are said for such false accuser. It amounts to that he breaks a severe directive, but says so and so person practices against Quranic teaching. In fact he is one who practices against Quranic teaching.

Look, what happened to the status of the complainant. First he did not reveal his identity, next, he did not provided the required evidences. Neither I am, nor the Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) was free from abiding the laws of Shariah. Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) was compelled to follow the rules of Shariah.

So, that person has filed such complaints upon which, the Shariah exercises laws and it is essential to follow the Sharia-made methods of witnesses. But he says so and so person has violated so and so directive of Holy Quran, punish him, but leave me.

==

Hazrat Musleh Maud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that this reminded me of a joke from my childhood that I had enjoyed a lot, now too when I remember I laugh. I was then in grade fifth or sixth. Our teacher had made a rule that whoever would answer his question within the prescribed time will be included amongst the top number. We were standing, teacher asked the question. A boy answered the question while the other raised his hand and said, Sir, this answer is wrong. The teacher asked the first boy to come down and told to second one to move up. As soon as the first boy came down who was initially at a higher number said, Sir, this boy while pointing out my mistake has pronounced the word 'wrong' incorrectly. The teacher upon hearing this swapped their positions again.

Hazrat Musleh Maud (r.a.) says that this is the state of some critics who object others, right or wrong, but their way of objection is criminal. Like this, such complainants, in process of bringing punishment for others, themselves deserve punishment. And then they cry that no one punishes the criminal, the one who draws attention is punished…….What do the punishers do, they are indeed bounded to the laws of Shariah. If you want to establish the authority Holy Quran then impose authority of God the Exalted at yourself too. If you want His authority should be established at others but not at you, then it is not right thing. So I say to the complainants, ‘ayaz qadrey khud beshanas’, i.e. Ayaz first you recognize your own worth and status.

Name-hiders hide their names and put allegations on others that these people have no status. And the proofs they present in allegations are as: That-someone belongs to such type of family, someone has no status, some is such and such etc.. And these allegations do not hold any reality. The complainants themselves are indeed the ones with no status.

==

We have to follow the commands of Allah the Exalted and it is Allah the Exalted Who is our Rab (Lord, The Creator, The Nourisher, The Raiser) and Rab of everyone; Who provides provisions, Who raises. And since we are getting everything from Allah the Exalted, then command of Allah the Exalted will be followed, not of allegation makers.

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah be his Helper) said, these complainants want others to be punished according to the Shariah and consider themselves free of commandments of Shariah. They themselves become judges. However, when matter will be unfolded, they will also be punished according to Shariah. Some matters are such where witnesses are needed. If witnesses do not come, that matter have no value. Anway, decision will be made according to Quran and Shariah.

==

Sometimes, it is said that someone took a false oath and protected himself. Once when such a matter was brought to Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and two disputers came. He (s.a.w.) said one party will take oath according to directive of Allah the Exalted. Other person said this is a liar person he may take one hundred oaths.

Upon this he (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) said I have to make the decision according to directive of Allah. If he swears upon the oath falsely, then his matter is with Allah the Exalted who will punish him for that.

==

Thus, it should always be remembered that decision at someone’s complaint shall not be taken according to the principle told by him. The decision at complaint will be made according to the methods told by God the Exalted. Where ever two witnesses will be needed they must be presented and where ever four witnesses are required then they must be presented. And according to that, investigation and decision will be made.

==

Our success lays in the fact that we do our dealings and decisions according to commandments of God the Exalted. And we should not force administration or Khalifah of time to decide according to our personal egos and explanations. May Allah the Exalted give wisdom to complainants if they think (it is valid) they should make a whole complaint with all proofs which should include their name and address. Then they shall be included in investigations.

Likewise, if people see, there is any real breach taking place in the system of Jama'at then they should come forward with courage, and launch complaint, then face everything.

Similarly, May Allah the Exalted enable and give the wisdom to the system the Jama'at -- those who are appointed by Khalifah of time, when they are making decisions, they should decide by keeping in view each angle of justice, following directives of Allah the Exalted and in accordance with Sunnah. [Aameen].
