Trump walks into a town hall meeting with undecided voters

I just can't imagine how there could be undecided voters at this point.
Unfortunately this subgroup tend to be the very low information voters, this they respond better to fear, and the “law-and-order” tripe.
Keep in mind that while the linked article in the OP is a fact-check of Trump’s lies and distortions, at the time of the meeting the people asking the questions likely took Trump’s answers as worthy and accurate. Perhaps not all, but still too many to be proud of humanity.

Its not an uncommon human reaction when people have joined a cult, or been played by a conman.
Just showing them the lie and the reality is not enough, due to the emotion of embarrassment.
In order to accept the truth, they first have to admit that they have been duped, they have to admit that they were foolish/stupid.
Nobody, consciously or subconsciously wants to do that. So they deny out loud, and they deny to themselves. They keep repeating the lie to themselves until they really, really think that it could be true.

As usual, he did his share of lying and ignorant comments:

Trump's ABC News town hall: Fact-checking the president's answers

COVID-19 is "probably going to go away now a lot faster because of the vaccine. It would go away without the vaccine, George, but it's going to go away a lot faster with the vaccine," Trump said. Stephanopoulos asked, "It will go away without the vaccine?" To which Trump said, "Sure, over a period of time. Sure, with time it goes away."
