Most Mexicans are at least part native American, they have more right to be here than many white settlers.

So... it looks like there could legitimately be Mexican citizens of Navajo ethnicity? II get it was an outrageous attack in thew OP, I'm just asking about a general type thing.
Are you trying to find some scrap of justification for the display of bigotry and racism?

Spoiler alert: there ain’t none

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...

No.

What part of "I get it was an outrageous attack in the OP, I'm just asking about a general type thing." was unclear to you?

When I read your comments to my wife, she rolled her eyes and said “Oh, Lord”

I couldn’t have said it any better.

It's important when entering an echo chamber to ask no questions.
This is because to show any openness to understanding is to
support the wrong & the wrongdoer. Only blind outrage is allowed.

As you can see, the thread quickly became this one incident being
writ large, & representing all the "deplorables" (ie, all Trump voters).
Of course, the reverse side of the coin is "false equivalency", ie,
Hillary voters aren't represented by their crazed gunman who shot
Republican congressmen last June at the Alexandria baseball game.

Btw, you have my condolences for being outed as a racist anti-Navajo.
I am too apparently (being a "deplorable"). So let us both reform by
checking our privilege. And I must apologize to a friend who was
the attorney general for the Navajo.

Most of what we call "tribes" are actually a collection of bands that tend to share a similar language and culture.

In the American SW, it is not at all unusual for an American band to share a similar language and culture with some Mexican bands and, especially going back a century or more, many had some contacts through barter and shared relatives. Same with the Inuit in Alaska and Siberia.

Lol, I had actually written out a response that pointed out that one person who happened to support Trump did not reflect Trump voters and then was like F*** it, no one will read it sincerely. And I was trying to think about how to write it that it wouldn't sound pretentious or mocking.
