Solomon was like the Hugh Hefner of the Bible.

And why may I ask are you so focused on this "sin" above all the rest, that you chose at that single example of why you thought Trump was a Christian?

Does it bother you more than stealing aide from the poor? Why? What makes you so uncomfortable about gay sex, versus a lack of compassion for the needy? Are you afraid of it more than the sight of others suffering? Does it make you personally uncomfortable, where other sins are excusable, like you've done for Donald? What's that about? It freaks you out? Makes you fearful about something uncomfortable for you?

He only asked for one example why he is a Christian, not for examples why he isn't one.

I don't hate the country or the planet that bad. :p

He wouldn't last in any decently run business he didn't own.

I should hope so. Compassion, freedom, respect, common sense ... all regularly bashed by the bible and yet ensures morality.

You're right: Republicans are often against things until we all find out they do it anyway.

So it's moral to kill them? That's what the bible demands of you. Why aren't you listening to God?

God made lots of things. Who cares? Remind yourself that Adam couldn't procreate with all the other nonhumans (and think real hard how'd he know that) and that instead of creating a woman, God just makes Adam an Adam With Boobs.

"If you don't know why Luke and Leia can't get married, you might be a redneck." :p

Jesus was against marriage in general. He was against FAMILIES in general. He preferred it if you dumped all your loved ones to follow him.

And unless you're reading certain fanfictions, Jesus never got hitched, so he is talking out his behind.

    I think that's insulting to third-graders. :p

No, he prefers anyone with a vagina, no matter how young.

And because of them, the young nation split asunder and didn't return for millennia. Way to go, heroes.

She's his walking sex toy. She's not going to leave him, though I wish she would. Even hookers deserve a bit of respect.

    Or his lap.

Um, no. Jesus was racist and didn't want to be bothered with a "dog".

Unless you're a Middle Eastern Jew, the reality is Jesus wouldn't automatically like you, me, or anyone reminding them of Romans.

Nationalism is idolatry, which IIRC is a sin.

It breaks the very first commandment, even.

Jesus made a habit of calling out overly strict rules by breaking the Sabbath and hanging out with the "losers", who were only losers because religious authorities said so.

He's never shown a bit of remorse, and still talks that way about women. Comparing him to David and Solomon is terrible; one look at Twitter tells you Trump has no wisdom.

It's quite accurate, actually. Both were notorious man-whores. David only survived Saul's rage by colluding with the enemy. Solomon threatened a baby to make a point. Both went on and on about how pious they were while doing everything BUT pious things. Both were fixated on building a giant tourist trap.

To say Trump and wisdom in the same sentence is like matter and antimatter in the same space.

    This is teenage thinking..

    1) Was Jesus married?
    2) Trump eats shrimp.

You really have a lot of research and meditation to do.

    1) Who has Trump repayed?
    2) And what sins has he repented of?

You know what; let's make a list.

Do you always run off at the mouth, showing your ignorance

You must hate the country, voting democrate is everything that's wrong with this country.
Have you any idea, what a bridegroom is.

Jesus being the bridegroom, coming for his bride. So in a since you could say Jesus is married.

What does Trump eating shrimp, have to do with anything.

Maybe it's you that needs to do your research.

Trump isn't the tax collector. Who has Trump cheated? Yes make a list of the sins he isn't doing. Trump is a pretty good guy. Married to one wife. A hard worker. And he is not a preacher or man of the cloth. I wouldn't hold him any more morally accountable than the average American. America wouldn't tolerate anyone more moral than that.

    Sure. Let's find out.

    1) And who is the bride? A female? Or a congregation of male and female?

    2) Right next to homosexuality in Leviticus, is the prohibition of shellfish; an abomination. You should know that shouldn't you?

And yet, you pointed your judging finger at Obama for supporting gays, yet you downplay the parade of sins of Donald as no worse than anyone else's. There is a word Jesus used for applying such double-standards. He called it hypocrisy.

Maybe instead of running to the old testament, Maybe you should go to the new testament which Christians are under.

The old testament is for Israel.
But then you showed yourself of not knowing what the new testament Supports and confirm's.
Therefore show one book, Chapter and Verse's in the new testament, where eating shrimp is a abomination. As you say.

Jesus said practice what you preach. Obama was not a homosexual so why was Obama preaching that it is as right as rain, suitable for children in their schools even?

The Christians seem to think that Trump represents them well. The evangelicals, who are probably the most intense Christians, overwhelmingly supported him. And two on this thread seem to feel that he represents them well. They seem to have no problem with his character.

So now the standard is the average US citizen?

13 Things The Bible Forbids Other Than Homosexuality (That You're Probably Guilty Of Doing) | HuffPost

Trump has been cheating people his entire adult life. That's not readily observable to those serving Mammon.

    Proverbs 16:5
    Leviticus 11:9-12
    Leviticus 18:6-18
    Leviticus 19:16
    Leviticus 19:27
    Matthew 5:28
    Matthew 19:21
    Mark 10:11-12

    More coming!

    Sure.

    Matthew 5:17-19

Now, show everyone here where it says homosexuality is an abomination, in the NT.
