And at a campaign rally in 2016, he proudly exclaimed that he doesn't need God's forgiveness on anything and that he doesn't really need to pray. And yet the Evangelicals still overwhelmingly support this guy.

Yup. I'm sure his magic wand will do the trick.

He'll make abortion illegal and since that is their holy grail compared to which everything in creation is secondary, they discount everything else he says and does.
