A pneumatic barrier could be placed along the entire Yucatan strait. This idea is in the research and development phase with costs unknown.

Maybe not. I mean had I had voting rights at the time and been old enough to, I might have voted for Bush in the Bush vs. Gore Presidential election. That's kind of gullible really.

I do hope my pushing back at you isn't seen as a bad way on here, the point I was trying to make was "The left does some crazy things, but the whole left isn't insane. Take better tact in letting us know about the crazy people on the left, and not accusing the whole left of being that way in doing so, and even us Dems might get a good laugh."

I know they aren’t going to impeach Trump or the use the 25th Amendment but even after three years of this-whatever you want to call it- “this” is unknown territory for everyone.

I don’t know what there is left to say anymore. this is way beyond anything I could have imagined happening when Trump got elected. :confused:

I’ve been watching and waiting for the US to come to this point.
If Republicans and Democrats were geographically east and west, you could expect another civil war.

I've estimated the present valuation of Greenland to be ca. $34 billion. I'm guessing the cost of a pneumatic barrier system deployed along the Yucatan straights that'd be able to cool the ocean enough to significantly diminish a hurricane's intensity would be more comparable to the cost of constructing the Alaskan pipeline which cost ca. $8 billion.
