I prefer being greeted by Merry Christmas, but I don't mind also being greeting by Happy Holidays. Since you seem to me to be non-religious, I wish you Happy Holidays, if you were more seemingly of the Christian persuasion to me, then I'd wish you a Merry Christmas.
