Trump went Supreme court today to have his subpoenas for financial records dropped. The Supreme court has so many things they are working on they may not decide till mid January on this one the article says.

Trump is either buying time or else seeing if he can get the court to do his bidding. He may also be testing the ground for his idea that the Supreme Court can over turn impeachment proceedings. By any legal convention it can't, but this is maybe we'll find out.

But Trump repeatedly said during the campaign that he'd release his tax returns before the election, but for some reason some of us doubted that.

What in the world does financial documents have to do with Trump asking the Ukraine to investigate his rival?

Another fishing trip from the Socialist Democrats I suppose?

Trump's unpaid loans from Deutsche Bank that is now a matter of the public record (NY state filings), which he would have to legally declare on his federal returns as well, could be quite telling, especially since that bank was fined billions last year alone for money-laundering operations linked to Putin & Co.

That is actually pretty quick for the Supreme Court. It means that they will be putting some other work on hold. This was always a delaying tactic for Trump since hopefully the Supreme Court has not been corrupted by him and his latest two nominees. Luckily historically the justices of the Supreme Court have been able to separate their politics from their decisions in such matters in the past. Let's hope that they can continue this tradition. Supreme Court justices are more concerned with history and how they will be judged. That often allows them to have a superior morality to politicians.

Crime after crime. But of course the Trump cult members excuse everything he does because he's the LEADER and ANYTHING he does is just 100% ok.

At least the Chief Justice cares about history. I'm not convinced that's 100% the case any longer. We could see a 5-4 decision against him.

No! We all know he has lived up to all his campaign promises and he's a good, honest, man of his word.

Do you think that is the only laws that Trump broke? I can never get over the naivety of Trump supporters.
It's supposedly all about breaking the law. Isn't it?

I have yet to see that particular elusive law that is supposedly on the books that Trump broke. What is it?

I can't ever get over the addle mindedness of numerous obtuse Socialist Democrat supporters.

Not just "the law" the Constitution as well. The law applies to the general populace. There are some protections for the President from the law during his time in office, at the same time he has some additional constraints put upon him. Lindsey Graham during the Clinton impeachment pointed out that a President need not have broken a law to be impeached.

Now just where is that written down?

Now, now, watch the projection and name calling.

No one has called you fascist, don't make false accusations against others that you cannot support. If you do not understand something you should be asking questions politely and properly. In fact that is a good rule to follow at all times.

Subtracting the "Socialist Democrat" lie, there are so many investigations and lawsuits by so many about his crimes and misdeeds that it's hard to keep track of them.
