In the spirit of Valentine's Day today in the US, I thought I would share a beautiful video of Thich Nhat Hanh discussing true love:

He identifies 4 elements of "true love":

1. Maitri (loving-kindness)
2. Karuna (compassion)
3. Mudita (joy)
4. Upeksha (inclusiveness, equanimity)

May we all give and receive true love. :)

Secret Chief

nirvana is samsara
That's me and my cat then

(I'm legally obliged to point out that I love my partner just as much and that they love me just as much as they love their cat. The cats, however, hate each other).
