I remember when Tottenham was just another “Kick and Run” team and then a miracle happened. A little Argentinean intellectual figured he would like to live in a City with so many museums and cultural events. He also figured he could make a difference in any club with his skills and ball distribution. Against all odds he was right and Tottenham was never the same.

His name, you guessed it: Ossie Ardiles.

I am off to the local pub at noon. That’s when it will be shown on the North American west coast.

I only wish I had access to it. It's not on a channel I get at home, and I have to work. It's crazy how well this set up for them, though. I'm definitely rooting for Spurs, mostly because I'm a Man U supporter, but also because I've always kind of liked Tottenham. It should be a good game anyway.

Of course, I can't wait for Sunday. I'm still holding out hope that Chelsea can choke and drop points.
