I dunno. Can there be such a thing as 'wrong' when it comes to advanced weaponry?

That was Stephen Hawking's concern with artificial intelligence. I believe he had a point.

Its obviously choreographed, but the robotics are real enough.

The danger though is the development of self learning Ai. Put it into a mobile platform like a robot chassis and it makes me wonder whats next.

Look at how fast its advancing. Self learning ai has been proven to exceed human capabilities to learn exponentially.

There's a few good Ted Talks out there on how fast ai can learn.

High tech, low life - if you think that cyberpunk is prophetic.

A dystopia - if you think conservative.

An utopia - if you think and act progressive.

I think that's an astute observation. We're pretty much at a crossroads today. Any idea which road we'll take?

I think that cyberpunk is the most realistic, given our status and direction. But extrapolations from a status quo are likely to fail because of some black swan event.

Social scores like China has? Another ai development in the making.

    Bad scores=dystopia

Good scores =utopia or at least enabled

Everything we do is complied and run by ai and machines.

let's not overlook the concept of turning your fellowman into an automoton

ever watch production workers at their best?

and the 'chip' in their hands will activate the front door....as a pass key
it will activeate the vending machine......as if currency

and some day it will lock your car door if you miss a payment

your front door if you fail the rent or mortgage

The second video shows CGO parody (lifted by your source from the original here and never properly credited or represented; . Please support the actual creators).

Very similar to the current century and the previous one. You can pick out shifts and changes but there is a much, much more than remains pretty much the same and people have long made predictions of massive changes in their near future that never come to fruition.

Nah, the China model lacks subtlety. The capitalist models by Google, Amazon and facebook are much more effective.
