I did not know he had a car wash. This, from the guy who stole a Best Metal grammy from Metallica. :p

I'm going to leave the 21st century for 10 days to live in the 13th. First real medieval market after 2 years. Anyone else going on a vacation?

No vacation, but you just reminded me I almost missed the Great Lakes Medieval Faire.

Thank you for posting this.

The State has just gone back into lockdown after a couple of cases were detected in Melbourne.
I think just about the whole country is in lockdown at the moment.

Yes, in Blackpool. They did a pretty good job to
Tull deserved the recognition, finally. Even if they weren't metal. They are an influential band and often well received by metal fans. One of the most under-rated bands out there.

Bloody hell, that’s taken me back in time.

Would have preferred a bit of Thin Lizzie tbph.

And Thin Lizzy too, great hand. Such a shame about Phil Lynott

Snippet, another band that used to hang around in Blackpool. Made use of the defunct Bispham recording studio

Haven’t been to Blackpool in years. Used to love that place, especially the Pleasure Beach. My former outlaws had a caravan nearby, happy days.

I must admit, one of things I like about the place was the liberal licensing arrangements. Could always get a drink on one of the piers, when the pubs were shut.

Never bothered me, i don't drink alcohol except very rarely.

But

Some if the casinos were pretty much th the same... Not sure which you'd lose most money in, a pier or casino...

I was surfing around recently and found a classical flautist who was analysing the playing of Ian Anderson who was still learning it seems as he was playing in the band.
Here is one in the series, there are many.

Don't forget your medicines against bubonic plague and such.
One of the best bands ever, BTW.

The whole place is a money burner if you’re not careful. I was on holiday with the family though, so didn’t ever really go crazy.
